Laverna knows what vore is but has no reference for Sonic the Hedgehog, and outing him is one of like... three lows she won't stoop to. So door #2 it is.

Also I am pretty sure Mituna can see her when she's on the Condesce's ship even in WT.

She haunts SGP wherever he goes. He killed her, you know, and you don't get rid of her that easily.

She mostly believes that it was an accident, in part because she is frankly surprised he can function without her.

 

I couldn't work this into narration cleanly and didn't want to talk to myself for too long, but Life Support and Cloudcrusher are holding hands because they just got pale engaged in their home timeline.

 

Long story short Wilhelm knows an instance of Ford Gleeful and due to various events that took place he's absolutely terrified of the man between wanting to outright destroy him the first chance he gets. So far he's had no luck with it though :^(

It's been a while since I infodumped on Color so

Spoiler: bound to get long

On Ethus Color is a sort of glue for souls. Souls can exist without a large amount of it, but all souls have Color. Losing the majority of your soul's Color is rare and frequently fatal, though not immediately. Depending on what Color remains it manifests as a sort of depression that can't be cured by medication- the only cure is to restore your Color. If you're not a magus or a channeler, you need to find one or you're phuckt.

Channellers are naturals at tapping into Color, to the point where they're dangerous if they don't learn how. Most, since most of them are spirit-touched, also have Colorless magic- the ability to manipulate something not under the domain of a Color. Laverna's storm affinity is 100% Colorless magic, her Seering is partially Colorless and partially an affinity for the relevant Colors. Non-spirit-touched Channellers are granted magic by spirits, which opens the soul's 'channels' without them having to learn.

The channels magic pass through in people are called Hearts. Each Heart can only hold one color. Channelers have more Hearts, capable of holding/allowing more color through. Color is constantly in motion, welling up from inside a person, being stored in the Heart temporarily until it either spills our naturally (it can't be contained longer than it wants) or is used. The amount spilling out is roughly equivalent to the amount held in all Hearts, so those who can sense Color can sense how much is spilling out- that's what the amount of Color in one's heart refers to. Hearts can only be seen when shown voluntarily, or when a channeler removes one from themself/someone else. Only channelers can do this- magi aren't in tune with Color enough, though they can be given Hearts by a Channeler, or have one removed. Taking a Heart transfers all the resting Color in it and allows the recipient to use more Color like a naturally opened Heart.

Magi have to learn how to wield Color on their own. Most are limited to one or two Colors they can use, trying to master more than that is dangerous. Their souls just aren't made for it. Colors are constantly at war with each other, and if someone wants any fine control over it they have to study, very carefully, how Colors affect each other and the magus themself. Most people are naturally drawn to certain Colors and magi generally prefer to cultivate the affinities they already have rather than risking poisoning themselves with a Color that doesn't get along with their natural ones. Some do learn to use other Colors for small things, though. There are very few magi who specialize in Silver or Amber, for instance, but many know how to use it a little and cultivate a smaller Heart to process it just in case.

No Color in any Heart = no using it.

Spirits are paradoxical, since they're made up almost entirely of Color with little-to-no other soulstuff (which would usually kill a human) but most of their magic is Colorless. Generally only gods can wilfully use Color.

Silver is the color of luck and insanity, of miracles and ill fortune, the color of rewards both earned and otherwise. It's overarching theme is Fate, challenged and otherwise. It's most often used for bending the odds to one's favor, but can also be used for Seeing. It's one of the least used by magi, but many spirits and channellers collect great deals of it naturally. Silver is also one of the colors of creativity (the others being Amber and Violet) but it's too mercurial to hold onto for long, magic-users tend to take advantage of it as it comes instead of trying to cultivate it. Just carrying a great deal of Silver in your soul makes the dice more likely to land in your favor.

Crimson is the color of anger and righteousness, of prophets and leaders, of war and civilization. It's primarily a battle magic, but it has a streak of creation to it. Many healers learn both Crimson and Emerald; Emerald Fortifies the body while Crimson destroys infection or cancer. Unfortunately it takes a great deal of talent to wield precisely; it's like fire and can/will burn out of control if your concentration slips.

Amber is the color of chaos, of delight, of rapture one step away from possession; it is conscious, creative joy. Though it's utterly unlike Crimson it shares something in its bursts of energy. Crimson is associated with the future, the desire to keep going forward. Amber is the desire to do, no matter what you're doing. It's also associated with metabolism- the body's and the Hearts'. People with a great deal of Amber process more Color faster.

Azure is the color of suffering and inner pain, but with an indispensable, strong shade of hope to it. It's associated with the passing of time- namely the past because Crimson is the unseen future- but also the perception of time. Azure can be used to experience time differently, not to change the actual passage of it but you can for example act faster because your view of time is slowed. Or you can increase the perception of time for others, leaving their reactions sluggish as seconds slip past.

Violet is the color of secrets, the color of magic and concern. It is an unkind, inquisitive, suspicious color, but almost all magi carry a great deal in their Hearts. It, other than Silver, is the Seer's color, a color strengthened by the drive to learn what isn't known. Nurturing it in your soul also requires cleverness, and having Hearts full of Violet makes the use of other Colors more intuitive.

Emerald is the color of patience and control, of awareness, of dedication and balance. It's a protective color, used most often for defence and healing. Emerald isn't entirely a color of growth, but its nature makes it easy to be used for it.

Gold is the color of love, unity, respect, and pity, the color of dedication and sacrifice. Gold is naturally drawn to those who are trustworthy, but also those who manipulate trust. Folk belief has it that manipulators carry a lighter shade of Gold in their Hearts, which has carried over to symbology (Unspoken wears pale gold) but isn't remotely true. Gold is finicky however, and only those who know the side of it they're using can wield it with ease- only the trustworthy or trust-broken.

In other news, he's not very fluent in any language besides Venusian and a bit of English so he's probably going to be either not talking much or appearing very sparsely. (The latter is more likely.)

I got bored so I decided to ramble as Rom because MEH.

 

As a side note for those who haven't met Rom before she is not physically present in the rave. Rom communicates to it via a notebook. Your messages and actions are appearing to her as little notes given to her by strange toothless men without eyes.
