Also I am happy this age thing came up because I find Buddhist time keeping methods beautifully weird. There's other interpretations of the standard, small, medium, and great kalpa lengths but these are the ones I know and find most amusing.

 

To computer brains, which like binary, earth timekeeping is nonsensical. Transformers timekeeping units are functionally worthless since they change value under every writer, though, so Cloudcrusher uses earth ones so his audience understands.
