Wow, I just learned a thing. Catte society as a whole is a little iffy on NB issues, although weirdly they have no problems whatsoever when someone decides they're a tom, not a queen, or vice versa.

Don't know your canon, but it looks to me like Church is more taken aback by Valiska's disapproval of the jerkitude than anything else, which I would expect given that he's hot for her.
