Hot oil is comfort-drink for some of our TF robots, so Whisper has accidentally hecked up his summoning and replaced coffee-smell with oil-smell. Otherwise, it is a perfectly normal cup of black coffee. Whether Mercy wants to trust coffee that smells like an engine is up to whoever's playing her :P

 

She's a doctor. She has drunk worse coffee than that before, I bet.

 

I love the implication that Mercy just passed out during their heartfelt talk and wakes in a haze surrounded by caffeine.
