@blue is @Caroline's icon supposed to be as uncanny valley as it feels to me? like, it doesn't seriously bother me but she looks like she's made of plastic or something.

 

I did note that she looks absurdly shiny when I first saw it.

 

I know that her picture is from the game, no idea if the developers meant her to look uncanny.

 

Yeah, it's unfortunately the one picture of her we get in the game - I think it's meant to be a painted portrait?

Psi-stalkers like him feed off Potential Psychic Energy, usually via bleeding. When a person is injured enough they let off a bit of PPE. Average people only let off a little, but psychics and magic-users let off a ton. Psi-stalkers only need about a pound of actual food a week while they need to 'feed' more frequently depending on how much they get at a time so usually when they talk about eating they mean feeding. They're natural predators to psychics and magic-users, which is why they have mandatory enlistment in the Coalition, who use them to hunt rogue psychics and all magic-users (psychics are Dangerous but if they play by the rules [forfeit their rights] then they're allowed to exist. Magic-users may be born with potential but they have to make the choice to use it, so all of them are Enemies to the CS).

Tolkeen is a nation of magic-users who supposedly collapsed but actually ended up taken over by assholes and had a necromancer revolution.

Other thing about feeding: killing their prey releases all of their PPE at once in a huge rush. Stalker in the middle of Tolkeen was a kid in a candy store and had to constantly be held back from killing people because fuck it, they're all assholes anyway and they're tasty assholes.

 

Lady is the scariest of most of the groups she's in. That's why she's the boss. Yeah she might kill you, but she'll fucking destroy you first. And if death is the more merciful action she'll leave you to live out your shitty little life, keeping tabs on you to stomp your fingers every time you find purchase. Enjoy being turned away from every support structure you scoffed at when you were big, fucker. Try to get a job? Did you know you're a registered felon? How did that happen!

I dusted them off after playing a fuckton of Watch Dogs so. Pretty much. Their world's a bit farther down the cyberpunk road- corporations have a LOT more power and are making open political plays, cybernetics and shit are starting to be a thing. Jay, one of 138 who I probs won't bring in because his characterization is -vague hand gesture- has a chip in his brain but it's a first run at jailbreaking them so it's not common among hackers yet.

Their world is a bit shittier so their methods are more extreme. They prefer to go the education and exposition route, because destroying people they disagree with is a very grey area. But their philosophy is "if the people refuse to act we will."

DedSec if they had a lot of Aidens.
