Yeah and like, if we're talking factual reality, omega and alpha and beta wolves don't exist in wild packs, and only sort of exist in stressful artificial situations where stranger wolves are forced together, bc they're all stressed and anxious so they work out an artificial hierachy so they can work together as strangers. If we're talking about what wolves are actually like! Doesn't mean people can't still enjoy ABO. OK. Look, I really thought I was being funny in the first post, but it's clear that I wasn't.

I am very sorry that I came off as kinkshaming which is not actually what I really intended. I don't actually judge people for reading or writing ABO (or anything else). ESPECIALLY not anyone here. I apologise for badly miscalibrating what I intended to be funny, probably because I'm still mad at people I know IRL, which is not the fault of anyone here. I am not intending to sit in judgement of people morally or otherwise about ABO.

I do however judge my ex-roommate and several of her friends for never fucking shutting up about it when asked to do so during dinners in our apartment and local eateries. Which has nothing to do with anyone here and again, I'm very sorry for hurting people's feelings HERE.

In conclusion, I was an asshole though I didn't mean to be, and I'm sorry that I was an asshole about it. Unfortunately it sometimes takes me a few hours before I can get things worked out in my head well enough to actually post apologies.

Omega ran because he was trying to make valiska's wolf chase him, he is not good at social.

He is also made to nuke wolf packs from the inside by taking control and nuking the psychic link in a way that causes brain death. Being that he was made into a werewolf for that reason his understanding of literally any social shit in real or not real wolves is.... none.

Basically he is suuuuper unsocialized! His idea of play is 'chase me while I avoid getting killed/hurt by you'

I also pay into the 'what do you get when you mix a wolf and a man? A dog' ideology, hence the white socks :p I have had werewolves with a myriad of silly coat patterns! Like brindle, spotted, striped, husky like, ect. Would help them blend in if they looked more like dogs

 

Well if need be Lissa can translate not-quite-wolf to wolf, which is funny because she's a cat.

(I had a smol vampire who turned into a smol white wolf and was frequently confused with a big white dog, which came in handy because a dog can get into places where they ask you questions if you look like a teenage boy who happens to be 200+ years old...)

 

Brought Letha and Bads in because of wolf + human = dog talk. I wanted to bring her in a loooong time ago but felt like I couldn't because Nick has a character with the same name root and brainbugs said I was a dirty copycat even though she's been around before I joined. XP Bads is kind of like a dude wolf version of Senka. He's not a werewoof, his kind are only ever born and never made, they're just wolf shifters the way Senka's a leopard shifter. He prefers being a dog like 70% of the time though. Dogs have more fun! And people treating him like a dog is... kind of a Huge Joke to him. (Also it's easier for Letha to move around with a service dog and he's not allowed to bite people in human form unless they're both into it.)

 

Teeechnically ig shouldn't have the knowledge to make this joke but 1) fukkit it's the rave and 2) the pun presented itself so beautifully I couldn't not
