That shading is really nice! I'd love to see a zoomed-in version so I can see the detail work a bit better (because again, DAMN that shading is cool) but since I'm guessing it's a sprite asset it absolutely works as-is.
No problem, here's a zoomed-in one! Most of the helmet's going to be covered up by a raven, but the face needs to look good, so I'm glad I'm doing well at that.
i don't always draw, but when i do i hyperfocus for an entire weekend and only stop when my arm hurts. my space pirate from our Starfinder game!
There is definitely a less convoluted way to build backgrounds, but I sure refuse to take the sensible route when the absurd but lazy route is available. Spoiler: process gif
