Update on previous WIP: did our first studio recording for "Gunshow". This still needs some touching up, because there's a weird half a second delay with the track layers. BUT. Here you guys go. (Also, fair warning: if you don't like metal screaming, probably don't want to click this.) "Gunshow", the wonky studio edition
Working on an enraged Galley to gift to Luka And my gosh it's been a long time since I worked on this Muffet. Well, at least October's thematically appropriate to pick it up again. Finally; I'm still chugging along at this logo, many many revisions later. Super glad to be paid by the hour
@Jean winner-witnessed, winner because i really like what you have so far and witnessed because i get the running outta steam
Still working on my closed species. Big problem I've run into now is I think they're a bit generic and don't know how to work that out. I like the magical quirks a lot of closed species have (inanimate body parts, food stuck on their heads, made of glitter glue, etc) and I feel like mine won't be popular without one, but it's important to me that my guys at least look biologically functional, and also my point with the lore is that they're not very magically or physically powerful so giving them magic traits might take away from that.
I'm working on concepts for an endogeny sticker. they're a bit difficult to figure out! plus my tablet's not communicating with my computer right now, so all I can really do is the traditional sketching. I'm working on some other stuff with my mouse right now, but I SO do not want to have to work all the necessary shading and smooth lines that a sticker would entail. I'm doing mostly clean-up work on traditionally drawn pieces. selecting white areas to delete, cloning coloured areas to spot-fix the lineart, stuff like that. not sure if I'll keep the black dog faces or not. or, indeed, if this is the concept I'll go with I'm thinking of doing the Annoying Dog next, but since it's just a dog.... IDK really how I'll be able to convey the concept properly while keeping my style and not just ripping off the sprites
