I updated my FB profile pic to the middle image in that above set - I was curious to see people's reactions. Of course my mom immediately commented sounding worried that I was angry. When I told her it was my determined face, though, she said "Okay, I know all about your persistence and determination. Watch out world!!"

It's just a fun social experiment for me - usually my profile pics are all smiley.
