While I was uploading this, sitting on our dock, there were children playing on the point at the mouth of the cove. At one point, I hear:

Kid 1: Hi, woman!
Kid 2: That's not a woman, that's a man!
Kid 3: Yeah, a WO-man!
Kid 2: No, a man!
Kid 4, silent until this point: That's a lady.

A pause.

Kid 1: I'm doing a romance with Jenny! /attempts to pick the girl up bodily and toss her off the dropoff/
