Exactly the same here. wildstar's looks were great, the play alas not so much.

In case anyone's interested, Blade and Soul is doing a one-year anniversary thing with some really cute outfits for logging in. My characters are all on Gunma server.

Reviving this thread to say I started Mabinogi and it's actually pretty fun! It reminds me a bit of archeage but slight less pay to win! wish there were more people on though, a lot of places are ghost towns.

Went and poked Blade&Soul some more to see how things were going, and they've made some really big improvements. Easier to keep your gear up to date, teleport costs seem to have gone away, and there's now a training room that explains your abilities better and lets you practice them.

also blade and soul has a really great story. not just by MMO standards, either. it'd be a classic single player game or martial arts movie/series/something.

my problem with MMOs is i don't want to have to play with people or like...groups.

also i have a Mac. its a somewhat decent mac, but still a mac.

I've actually found that a lot of MMOs are pretty friendly to solo-play. Especially nowadays, with groupfinding mechanics that remove the 'you have to actually talk to people to group up' aspect of multiperson content. Whenever we go on a binge of trying out smaller MMOs, me and Moony tend to be able to run everything pretty much solo with no problem, which is handy when you don't know if you like the mechanics enough to really stick around.

The Mac thing is a wee bit unfortunate though.
