Pretty much all I write anymore are small, (mostly) quick things a few sentences long just to catch a feeling. Does anyone else come up with these? Where it's interesting, but not a full enough piece to submit just on its own merit. I thought it might be nice to have a not too serious place for people to post drabbles.
Spoiler: light implied body-horror: "adult acne" I have empires carved into the cliffs of my sides. The banks and smooth riverbeds of my chest are home to millions, and the tectonic shift of my muscles mark the changing seasons and the mood of the gods. I want them gone, mostly, as they mine my flesh and raze my forests, slaughter my guards until their bodies are a tide rushing over my fingers and down my chin. I want them gone, but the one immutable fact is that I am never alone, here in this land of me.
