Soliciting Real Animal Ghost Stories!

A very minor (potential?) animal ghost story: several times after my family's cat Annie passed away, I saw her sleeping in her favorite spot in the sun/strolling in the woods behind the house, and once I woke up in the middle of the night and swore she was curled up in the bed with me. She was my grandparents' cat, but we adopted her after they couldn't take care of her anymore, and she decided that I was her favorite human in the new household. If I wasn't just dreaming/imagining things, maybe she wanted to let me know that she was okay?

It's worth noting that she was a calico and stood out really well against foliage and stuff, so it's a bit less likely I was just mistaking something else for her. There were also no other calico cats in the neighborhood.
