I am tall but not THAT tall lol Spoiler: Lapis thoughts Personally, Lapis's backstory doesn't feel rushed or anything to me--not nearly as rushed as the resolution to the Cluster, at least. Like... I actually really love the fact that she was just an innocent bystander! I'm curious as to why she came to "visit" Earth in the first place, and I do agree that she's probably hiding SOME stuff, but I'm also very willing to buy that that's basically what happened. Idk, I personally feel like not everyone's story has to be overly complex and/or involved. It's a war, there's going to be collateral damage, I like that Lapis was part of that collateral damage. THE REST OF THE EPISODE THOUGH. I LOVE how Steven's convincing basically everyone that the Earth is beautiful and worth protecting :'D and also Steven's emphasis on change! It feels very relevant to the overall story arc of Steven. Change is good, stasis is stagnation and is bad.

So it's just occurred to me. Spoiler: Same Old World Lapis ended up with a wacky roommate who lives in the country and until recently hated the Earth too. All of Steven's suggestions for living spaces came partially true.
