ok I just remembered something hilarious from Barn Mates Spoiler Peridot apparently has all seasons of Camp Pining Hearts on DVD now, and she and Steven agree that season 5 is garbage. It's beautiful. I want her to run a Camp Pining Hearts tumblr and engage in ship wars and post incredibly long meta posts and headcanons and reblog percy/pierre fanart and fanfic.

Spoiler: barn mates/hit the diamond they were hilarious i liked lapis and peridot's interactions, though i also was really sad about how, though peridot liked lapis, lapis didn't like her back until the end. just yeah... feels. i'm surprised that steven said jasper was on neptune, and it worked. and that the rubies didn't bother with crystal gems once they realized jasper wasn't with them.

Spoiler: more talking about hit the diamond i'm amazed by ruby and sapphire's inability to pay attention to the game. like, those two knew what the crystal gems thought the stakes were, right? i'm wondering if that's an effect of being fused for so long, being so used to being one person that they can't really handle being two anymore. also, i love that ruby and sapphire being gay has been important to the plots of at least 3 steven universe eps so far. like, that's so hard to believe and it makes me feel so lucky.
