Im still torn between the idea that the armor of the fallen was actually used by humans, or if it was armor used to put gem shards in like in frybo. Maybe both?
I wonder - Gems can integrate new things into their weapons as a permanent addition, that they can turn on or off as they wan so I wonder if they could ALSO add armor to their projection semi-permanently. For squishier Gemtypes, that could be really handy.
Armor to make gems not designed for combat able to stand up to quartzes would certainly be in line with the rebellion's general philosophy. "You made me to do this one thing but screw that, my friend Bismuth made me this sweet gear that lets me doing something else just as well as the people you made specifically to do it."
I wonder what the physically least durable caste is... Peridot and Pearl are non-combat but they're both pretty darn durable.
Actually, the line was "I've been a criminal for 6,000 years." (Source: I've watched that episode at least ten times already.) Additionally, Garnet was first formed 5,750 years ago, and we know she was one of the first CGs. Pearl states that the war lasted a thousand years, so that'd place Garnet joining the CGs around a quarter of the way in--not too long, all things considered. 10,000 would be inconsistent with that bit of the timeline (which has been pretty consistent, I think).
I'm curious if there are variations in the durability of gem types within castes (besides individual differences, like how Jasper is Superquartz). Like, Ruby and Sapphire are both corundums and they've got the same general size and shape, but Rubies are combat mooks and Sapphires aren't- are Sapphires likely to be on average less durable than Rubies, or about the same because they're both corundums?
Hm, I wonder - that doesn't necessarily mean that Pearl's first criminal act was in the war outbreak. She could have been doing all kinds of small rebellions and sabotages before the war itself became a thing.
Guys, the airing schedule confuses the hell out of me and I can't find a legit source telling me when things are airing now. Are they still airing new episodes weekly or has that changed?....
I think "summer of steven" is over, there's no new ep on my dvr and the last one we watched had a definite "summer's over" theme... /delurks?
The last one definitely had a "summer's over" theme and there doesn't seem to be a new ep, at least looking at kisscartoon. Madridista says SU is on hiatus until further notice. Also, uh. theworldofstevenuniverse.blogspot.com appears to have been taken down, although their tumblr says that they'll be creating a new site. Still, RIP.
Nooooo! D: To be fair, I rarely used it, because it disagreed with my laptop, but... the Latin American Spanish dubs! Nooooooo :c how will I brush up on my language skills in the gayest rock mommiest way possible now?
As requested, I put my homemade su playlist on the internet. @Starcrossedsky , these are the tunes you heard in my car (most of them) http://8tracks.com/mizushimo/go-out-for-pizza-summer-2015 (let me know if the link doesn't work)
