Spoiler: S5 spoilers, ep titles, and speculations Yall i think lars is gonna die for the Dramatic Effect, one of the episode titles on wikipedia is lars' head and i am very worry
Yeah thats true, i guess its pretty different. I just REALLY dont want another case of the cliffhangers and cartoon network in general seems to really like doing that. Although looking at samurai jack maybe we'd just have to wait like a decade?
according to Rebecca, 5 is the final planned season. actually, originally she wanted 3 seasons, but then CN wanted her to split up things to make seasons not so long. so now 5 is the final planned season.
Stuck together was episode one of season 5. The bomb theyre on now on tv is the end of 4 Edit: ninjad :d
IIRC the production seasons actually are split into three seasons rather than five--seasons 1A and 1B are production season 1, seasons 2 and 3 are production season 2, and seasons 4 and 5 are production season 3. #cartoonsperg
A small thought on Stuck Together. Spoiler One thing that I find interesting is Aquamarine apparently does have a soft spot somewhere. Topaz could've disrupted, even shattered her (maybe), and she was like "you unfuse and we all pretend this never happened." Why would she do that? What does it mean?
Spoiler Uncharitable option: it'd be a pita to work with another hench. She's used to working with Topaz, working with even another Topaz/pair of Topazs would be different and a bother. Since the series is big on redemption it's more likely that you're right, I just saw the less hopeful option because I do that.
Spoiler: stuck together, aquamarine I do think it's interesting in lieu of her 'sentimentality' comment that she doesn't do what is most efficient herself. For someone haranguing others about sentimentality, that's a very interesting decision to make. I also noticed the expressions she makes during that? Like, she has this tired grim look and it's like... Well fusions get sentimental. You expect this from them. Eventually. It makes me wonder about the occurrence of this on homeworld, and it seems weirdly lenient for someone who's... the way Aquamarine is. Also I loved her 'sweating but kept composure' she had when she was cornered. Aquamarine is surprisingly interesting to me?
Spoiler: Wanted promo Observe: Lars and Steven riding (or falling, rather) in Blue Diamond's thingy.)
Spoiler: Stuck Together screming 1. Aquamarine is still making me make the >:/ face, I see 2. "Lars, pull my pants off!" I was drinking juice, Steven. 3. Wow, I. Wow. I relate to Lars? I seriously relate to Lars and this is the first time for this? 4. TOPAZ OH MY GOD I LOVE YOU I LOVE YOU you did the month of November proud 5. Conflict: I want Steven and Lars to escape and be okay, but I also want them to meet the Diamonds and have scary plot-related experiences 6. No. Nono. You do not start arguing when you're on the brink of escaping that is asking for-- 7. Yep, here comes Aquamarine. 8. I find it interesting that the people who put down fusion always do so because of perceived 'weakness?' For Jasper it was physical weakness, and for Aquamarine it's because she feels it encourages emotional softness and she doesn't like that. Especially when the entire rest of the show really builds up how a consensual fusion with someone you love and trust makes you a lot stronger in both those areas. Homeworld really encourages the whole 'lone wolf don't need no one' type of mentality, doesn't it? 9. YES TOPAZ SWAT AQUAMARINE GET A BROOM AND FUCKING SWAT HER 10. Oh. The one thing Topaz isn't willing to risk is... losing her fusion partner <:( 11. Aquamarine, that was surprisingly nice considering that you're. You. 12. Shit is about to get real. Spoiler: That promo tho "I want to know what she thinks we're going to do with her... because I'm going to do something worse." Blue Diamond, goddamn. And poor Steven, having to deal with that giant blue lady specifically angry at him being terrifying in his face like that. And Yellow Diamond with lightning powers! She is officially Zapdos!
Spoiler: Stuck Together thing ngl, I'm kind of disappointed Topaz didn't use the destabilizer on Aquamarine. like, I get why, but I'm sad about it.
I'll be honest, I don't particularly mind when a series ends, so long as it ends well. And doesn't drag on well past its sell-by date, as it were (cough cough supernatural cough cough) So long as I'm left satisfied, then I'll be okay. There's a part of me that is like 'SHIT NO IT'S TOO SOON WHY' but as long as it's a good one, then I don't mind saying goodbye.
