Spoiler: re: the teaser from CN's twitter i'm intrigued by the fact that, not only is Pink short, but White seems to be taller than the rest! we saw Yellow and Blue and thought "ok they're all that tall" but apparently there's more variation in diamond sizes. now i'm hoping that White is the de facto leader because she's taller than everyone.
Spoiler the teaser shows silhouettes of all the diamonds, including White. we don't actually see her, just her outline. (but she looks taller than the others.)
Spoiler: The teaser I'm intrigued by all the small ways the silhouettes resemble each other? Like, White Diamond has spiky hair and a flare-y coat (or possibly a dress) like Yellow, Pink has big sleeves like Yellow (but longer and a softer shape, like Blue's), all four of them have outfits that flare out at the hips, Pink has a bottom-heavy gem like Blue (the shape is even simplified the same way!), and Pink's hair is like the perfect combination of short/spiky (White and Yellow) and soft/flowing (Blue). I have no idea where I'm going with this, I just like it :P
Spoiler: Teaser It’s interesting that White only has the one planet - maybe she controlled Homeworld and didn’t have direct control over any of the colonies.
Spoiler: two theories my first theory is, since both Blue and Yellow have more planets in their murals than were shown here (Blue especially), there are a lot more planets that we weren't shown, and maybe White controls some of those. maybe we were only shown Homeworld, and then the planets Yellow and Blue were given between the time Pink was 'born' and Pink getting her first planet. or maybe they just showed us a selection of random planets, idk. second theory is: White is viewed as technically 'controlling' all the planets and Homeworld, but only controls Homeworld directly, which would explain why she has so many planets in her mural but only had a diamond on Homeworld.
I'm always going to love how much the same types of gem resemble each other - from Rubies to Amethysts to Diamonds, they all look like sisters.
So question for anyone else who has the S1 box set: does it really not have audio commentary?? Like, seriously?? I can't find it at all, and there aren't many other special features...but I wanna know if I'm just not looking in the right place. It seems very odd that it wouldn't.

I FEEL A LITTLE SILLY FOR FLIPPING MY SHIT ABOUT THIS SO HARD BUT WE FINALLY SAW CONFIRMATION OF HER EXISTENCE AAAAAAAAAAAA ALSO HER HAND/ARM IS LARGER THAN BLUE AND YELLOW'S ALSO ALSO!! YELLOW'S HAND AURA HAS THE SAME ELECTRICITY-STYLE OF THE AURA SHE EMITTED WHEN DESTABILIZING ZIRCON, BLUE'S HAND AURA IS THE SAME COLOR OF THE AURA SHE EMITTED WHEN SHE WAS IN THE COURTROOM AND MADE EVERYONE FEEL HER GRIEF, AND WHITE'S IS LIKE--STRAIGHT UP STAR LIKE. IT'S WHITE LIGHT LITERALLY THE ATTACK WAS LITERALLY THE DIAMONDS EMITTING LIGHT AND POWER TO EARTH I have to wonder if it was LITERALLY their grief and anger in those auras. just. channeled to try and hurt the rebels. also I'm wondering about like....so when Garnet formed, it doesn't seem possible to me that Pink was already shattered--the colony was still being built then, Blue seemed overall fine, and the rebellion was only just getting started. but it ALSO doesn't seem like Garnet was necessarily THERE for the shattering? unless the flashbacks of Pink's shattering and stuff are things Steven himself was picturing instead of an actual flashback, I mean....we KNOW Rose's sword couldn't have shattered Pink. Bismuth explicitly states that the sword was made to cut through a physical form without ever touching the Gem. but in the moment we see Rose shatter Pink in this promo, she has her sword. which suggests either the flashback was made by a Gem who wasn't there, or that Steven is picturing it as he's being told the story, or something. although at this point I really have no firm ideas on who was there when Pink was shattered anymore, like I'm just so uncertain of anything there. OH but my original thing was--if Garnet wasn't there, I'm curious how the rebels found out, because that would kind of suggest that only one or MAYBE two of the rebels were there (most likely Pearl and Rose, would be my guess, if that's how it went down), and I can't....even imagine how that would be reacted to. although there's a strong part of me still running on 'Pearl is the one who ACTUALLY did the shattering' theory. I have a lot of theories about WHY that would be the thing, but I honestly really want it to have been Pearl ALSO PINK'S FUCKING ANIME VILLAIN LAUGH. oh and I gotta be real, as much as I still feel like Pink could have grown over time, and that could be a Normal Diamond Thing, that they like actually "grow up" in a way--I'm also squinting a little at the theory that Pink was in fact off-color, mostly because....her coloration in some of these flashbacks where she was like, a bit larger than I would have expected, closer to a PROPER Diamond size, was really.....red. like, much more intensely red than I would have expected--Pink's coloration overall, from what we saw in the episode where she was revealed, was not that far off from Rose's. and yet Rose was pale pink in most of the flashbacks she was part of, and in those flashbacks Pink was like....a pinkish-red at most. which is making me wonder if that's just color symbolism for the contrast between Rose and Pink and their ideals and characters (plus red for Drama when Pink was shattered), or if she was, in fact, off-color and 'wrong' for a Diamond compared to what she should have been. I mean....that plus her Gem being sideways and upside down, and the fact that it's seeming like another DIAMOND had a hand in her shattering and her being 'off color' could have definitely caused one of the others to want her gone....IT'S JUST SO INTERESTING, Y'ALL.
We have further info on the new episodes! First off, only the first four (of six) of the new episodes will be released early on the app on Monday; the others will air after those four have aired. We will be getting these six episodes weekly. Apparently the final one is a half-hour episode, and apparently these six episodes form an arc...
