No I know what day it is, but what does the reveal of who murdered pink diamond have to do with that?
So apparently this song is by Estelle featuring Kanye West. I never knew who sang it until today You know what this means, right? Kanye West has worked with Garnet. (Also, that Kanye West has 3 degrees of separation with Andrew Hussie and that might be a bit too much to take it)
Spoiler: Pink Diamond thought so I freely admit that I have literally no real thoughts on where Pink Diamond's storyline is going right now, with the shattering and Rose and if it was real or not or what even, but I did think of something.... we know Steven has seen into her memories. what's interesting to me is that in the past when he's communicated with Gems, it's usually been in the present moment, not just viewing a memory of theirs--I mean, he felt Blue Diamond's grief, but he felt what she was feeling at the EXACT MOMENT, not what she'd felt in the past so much. at the same time, every instance of mental communication or connection with another Gem prior to this has involved connecting to their existing consciousness. which would seem to indicate that Pink is alive, right, if he can see her memories from her perspective? but....we know shattered Gems seem to retain SOME amount of conscious awareness and even some of who they were before shattering--the Cluster, after all, seemed to remember Earth, and be distressed by the idea of hurting it, which would make sense as they were previously Crystal Gems. (I exclude the forced fusions here, because I think what happened to them affected them much more significantly than even just shattering does, so I'm not sure they're great examples of what shattered Gems experience.) so what if Pink Diamond IS shattered, but left in a position where she's still conscious to some extent, and different bits and pieces of her are just....stuck, sometimes somewhat aware of her surroundings, sometimes reliving her memories over and over, and THAT'S what Steven/Stevonnie picked up?
Spoiler: minor spoilers for the big show man greg's parents must've fucking sucked if they were that disapproving of his career and it makes me go like...no wonder the poor guy changed his last name.
