Spoiler: spoiler OOOOH MY GOOOODDDD okay first things frist: i feel much better about the pearlrose relationship. lie, i love it when its fucked up but knowing that it was pearl that swept rose off her feet and made her fall in love with earth.... and then they almost formed into proto rainbow quartz!!! aaaa!!! Spoiler THAT WAS VERY GAY AND GOOD poor ruby and sapphire, i’d know things will work out in the end even if it weren’t for the leaks but STILL!! and pearl continues to be super gay. the relationship is still super unhealthy imo (and i love it for that) but it makes me happy that pearl really did have autonomy! (also, i like the little loophole in the geas—“no one can know,” but now that someone DOES know...) (also pearl you absolutely just wanted an excuse to look up rose’s skirt didn’t you :P)
Spoiler: su spoilers!!!! yep. their relationship is definitely unhealthy. like, even though pink adored pearl and pearl swept pink off her feet, pearl was under a geas and pearl was still afraid to question pink and there was a lot of other unhealthy stuff going on. Spoiler: a tangent about my personal fanwork desires Spoiler: jumping off from what you said Spoiler: but more a personal musing than anything else so, like, i want unhealthy, angsty fluff for pearlpink/pearlrose now, if that makes sense. fluff with a little edge to it, fluff that's cute but has something else lurking underneath - so basically the kind of thing i saw in this episode. does that make sense?

Okay, okay, here we go. So first of all, Spoiler I accidentally watched the wrong video. But then Spoiler I watched the right one. So, Amethyst lampshades the Pink Everything, way to go, good job. Thanks, Crewniverse. Then Garnet unfuses and Sapphire says her "our relationship was based on a lie." Which relationship, though? Garnet and Rose? Or... Garnet? Pearl was explicitly "given to" Pink. Not necessarily made for her, that part is left unstated. So she wasn't originally Pink Pearl. So who was she? The common theory is that she belonged to White Diamond, but as we've been shown, appearances can be very deceiving. OH my Fucking God, Rose was Pearl's idea. Rose was Pearl's idea. Rose was Pearl's idea. We now have confirmation from Pearl that Pink did in fact try to stop the colonization process, more than once, and failed. Thus, revolution. And Pearl started it.
Okay, off the subject of plot, now onto other things. Spoiler oh my fucking god that was gay. So much gay. mostly from Pearl but a whole lot from Pink Diamond, too. Pearl helped Pink come to earth so she could be free and explore her colony, joined her in her revolution against the other Diamonds, tried to fuse with her fucking immediately after seeing Ruby and Sapphire do it, and it almost worked... and Rose was inspired to expand her revolution because of Garnet, who is two gays. I'm... argh, the more I see the more I ship PinkPearl.
