There are exceptions, mostly regarding her mental state and general health, but that's mostly because she's lying to herself. And she does sort of apply the same twisty logic; "I'm fine (because I'm not dead or dying.)"

1) Initially got involved with the demons because she changed her mind about suicide just a bit too late.

2) Traded her love's existence for her own in becoming a demon, because the angels would have obliterated her in separating them. Still not sure she made the right decision.

So I got my yearly near-death experience in today.

 

What happen: a truck in front of us and a few lanes to the side was towing one of those giant mulchers that can turn like 12 trees into wood chips. The tire was smoking and we started dodging when the tire came off, bounced across traffic some three times, over our car, and onto the other side of the highway. The tire was some three feet- if we hit it it would have gone through the windshield.

Both myself and the friend who was driving are fine, and now it's mostly funny.

-vibrating- it's HAPPENING I am officially moved out in 70 minutes! Stuff's all packed and in the van, now I just have to wait for my appointment to do the inspection and get my key.

 

Have all my boxes. Two of them are mostly empty. Came to the terrible realization that I don't have enough space for all my stuffies. Still need to assemble desk + acquire an altar table. When I'm more settled I need to acquire ingredients for the bread I owe.

My couch is a little hard but my bed is criminally soft.

Bought myself a bottle of Fireball Whiskey as a moving day treat. Pleasantly warm and fuzzy.

 

They gave me such a hilariously tiny coffee pot. It's like a five cup pot? Which in practice is two of my massive mugs.

This weekend I went to Grandma's to do laundry, since the common facilities here are still under construction. Which includes the laundry room.

This meant Saturday was shopping day, since Grandma was willing to help me find things I needed.

Loot: super gay kettle, tiny crockpot, rice cooker, an actual coffee pot, bigger trash can for kitchen trash (sadly does not fit self), a water filter pitcher + spare filters, future cat things (little tower, litter box, food + water bowls, box liners. Shelter will give me food + litter, and cat toys were in the first care package), plus some little things I needed, like a dish drainer and some utensils I was missing. (I do actually need a lemon squeezer)

Got home, unpacked appliances and put them where go. Did first filter use stuff, now have clean water that doesn't smell like pool.

I did so much adulting! Now I'm drinking some Fireball and might assemble my desk if I feel up for it. Need to set up meds for the week, too.

Tomorrow I have to talk to my landlord/case manager about my stove not being plugged in, How Do Mount TV, getting my cat, and the whole "this is my first month here and also the second time I've paid rent anywhere please walk me through wtf I'm doing"
