Hey I was thinking maybe one day we budding-or-blossomed furries watch two or three movies with animal-based protagonists maybe?

But yes! Things that immediately come to mind in terms of non-Disney are (ofc, since it was recently brought up) the Don Bluth animal films (All Dogs go to Heaven, Pebble and the Penguin, Rock-a-Doodle), Go Hugo Go, Felidae, and Cats Don't Dance

 

Also Gay Purr-ee. It's a Chuck Jones movie starring Judy Garland as Mewsette and Robert Goulet as Jaune-Tom (with Red Buttons starring as Sidekick Robespierre.)

real talk tho: what is with don bluth's obsession with trying to drown animals in his movies. now that i've seen that rock a doodle trailer i can name three of his movies with scary almost drowning scenes.
