Yeah, it was a whole Thing for a while. I don't actually have objections to the theory itself, it was that particular contingent of fan I disliked.
SPEAKING OF FANDOM DRAMA: who else got caught in the crossfire of raven/robin vs bb/raven vs bb/terra vs starfire/robin you'd think that some of these people would work together but no, this was a no-holds barred brawl and gods save your soul if you stumbled into it unknowing
Wat Gods people multi-shipping. Also like, change and development through your life. I know Raven and Robin kissed at least once in the comics but BB and Raven & Starfire and Robin ultimitely end up together. Before the latest reboot at least.
The only encounter I remember ever having about shipping was a huge (good-spirited) argument with my dad about whether Raven/BB or BB/Terra were a coupling more likely to work out. Some people argue about important issues with their parents, and then there's me.
bb/raven appeals to every trope in my nasty little shipper's heart so it's my fave but at the end of the day multishipping is where it's at that and polyshipping. yell heah.
I love Jason Todd but I do not like him as Red X, and I can find almost no good fic where Red X is his own character except for these two (x) (x) . . . . . granted I am also picky about my fanfic >-o

oh man i need to watch this show For Reals, i remember i loved what i got to see of it as a smol but Crazy Conservative Baptist Mom happened to see a snippet where raven is talking about how she's a demon child and guess what we were henceforth banned from watching ._. snippets i vaguely remember: - the team finding puppets of themselves and being alternately intrigued and creeped out - beast boy turning into an alien (fictional?) monster for the first time to scare some guards off and being proud of it - starfire was supposed to marry some dude and freaked out when she actually saw him - multicolored raven emotions - raven gets creeped on by some dude who's made of a book and convinces her of his friendship - 'when i was born in azaroth' - ???????????? - there is not much i remember and i need More
