My hands are gonna fall off my wrists, and someday I will have an actual sense of scale for the size of these things, but this silly project is finally done!!! I almost ran out of the dark grey color too, right at the very end. I was afraid I wasn't going to be able to actually finish until tomorrow. I wouldn't have cried on the outside, but I would have cried on the inside. I had mmmaybe like ten stitches worth of floss left by the time I finally tied it off.

Definitely post progress pictures whenever you feel like it! :DDDDDD (also something that helps me on larger projects is doing a loose running stitch to make a grid of 10x10 blocks, like here, but that's less critical for that Whirl pattern since there's a clear central spot to build outward from. it makes more difference to me on the bigger pieces where I start from a corner and work my way across) (also also I don't know if you're aware of the knotless loop start, but I worked for years without being aware of it (i think I was halfway through the cascade project before I realized it was a thing) and it makes a huge spoons difference to me in terms of cross-stitch stamina)
