With his whole trine and his desire to fight and his faith in Megatron.

I don't even know what happened, I'm just trying to write this silly prowlmegs fic, and suddenly I'm shipping Momus and Sherma? Momus is playing an important role in the plot? Suddenly Combaticons? Whoops I accidentally a characterization for Decimus? Cybertronian economic political games? Sudden grumpy-but-competent doctor hiding a drug addiction and I'm surprisingly invested and want him to clean up his life and succeed? Oblique Brainstorm reference? Also I worked in an excuse for Prowl to pet Megatron and I'm very, very pleased with myself. Work meant I couldn't write a lick Tues-Fri, but I'm still 10.5k deep and accelerating towards the first sex scene. Just have to write Shady Dealings and Doctor Times and then I'm there. (also also, I had to cut Ratbat out of the picture, because even hinting at the possibility of Soundwave and his mind-reading powers would be too fic-breaking at this point in the game. buuuuuut imagine after Prowl and Megatron have established their Happy Treason Fun Times, and Soundwave reads their minds and is like HOT DIGGITY DAMN (nailed that characterization) and he gets subverted by Megatron that way instead of being actively recruited like he was in canon. I LIKE IT. and I've accidentally found myself shipping Prowl/Megatron/Soundwave. there's something about this fic that's just HORRIBLY ENABLING for the shippy feelings)
