.......you know, I might have to redraw his head just to get his chin to do the thing. I was being lazy and avoiding redraws and that pose is good for three panels out of the thing, but... redrawing his head will be worth it for that face (even redrawing his helmet ;u;) (the most challenging but exciting part of this whole thing is going to be the alternate ending with Terminus and Impactor)

I've been thinking about Spoiler: possible spoilers for up to the new TAAO just in case the plot idea that one day Wheeljack realizes who Starscream has been talking to this whole time. Between Wheeljack's science brain and Bumblebee sneaking in old war codes that Starscream wouldn't know on his own, they find out that it's seriously Bumblebee's brain ghost in there. Starscream becomes the most resentful, inaccurate, grudging medium ever, only playing along because he's sure that Wheeljack will use it as leverage against him or go running to Optimus otherwise. It keeps Bumblebee off his back. Plus, well. It makes Wheeljack happy. Starscream occasionally gives Wheeljack compliments "from Bumblebee" that aren't. Bumblebee is like "why are you lying about being nice to him?" and gets the silent treatment for a couple days. Bumblebee tries to slip SOS "hey, Starscream is crashing and burning here and I'd kind of like not to die again when he self-destructs" codes in their conversations. It's not super effective, but Wheeljack already knows. Starscream: the angriest Ouija board.
I'm sitting in a panel on the Japan-only transformers series, and it is really weird hearing about the origins of all these characters I knew were legacies, but I didn't KNOW about them. Chromedome! Overlord! Deathsaurus! ALSO A PERSON IN WRECK-GAR COSPLAY JUST CAME IN AND LEFT AND THEY HAD AN ACCORDION AND I DIDNT GET A PICTURE AND I'M SO SAD (also swindle, with a robot head, and a purple and yellow business suit, I WAS TOO SLOW WITH MY CAMERA :C)
Hahaha, this guy is talking about one or two of these series and recommending not to watch them, because he is genuinely less of a transformers fan after watching them. He thinks they're worse than Age of Extinction. I totally missed WHAT series he's talking about, but hey XD (masterforce and one other, maybe?)
More petty reasons to dislike Bayverse: I found Age of Extinction merch (I guess Walmart's trying to start the hype train for Last Knight early?) and the colorwork is ugly as sin. Black faction sigils on Primary Blue background-- fine. Glowy halos around the sigils in "faction colors--" not done too well but it might've been a better idea in concept than the execution of shitty Walmart curtains allowed. But in what continuity are the faction colors neon orange and highlighter yellow?
Don't know if anyone has recc'd it before, but I'm enjoying this Optimus/Soundwave G1 fic immensely 8) Lots of cool cassette+carrier headcanon worldbuilding, though I'm only halfway through it
That is a really good fic but it's giving me the terrible urge to go write more of my own fuckin fic (keysmashes gently)
