Yeah Dark Cybertron is definitely an acquired taste can you imagine if it was drawn entirely by alex milne and sarah stone it would have been so much better :') It's confusing and kind of boring without exRiD background, the parts of the plot that are really interesting are either clumsy as hell or have all the subtlety of a sledgehammer, but it introduces a couple of very important characters both for exRiD and for MTMTE, and also brings with it some major developements for the continuity, so when you hit the crossover and decide to skip it you should hit us up for a tl;dr of what happens @Charlie !
