TFs: DARE TO BE STUPID

I think first I'm going to get Arcee and Knock Out hooked up because 1) yes please, 2) I want to drag my tags away from JUST m/m as chapters get added, and 3) it makes it harder for that one person to argue I'm only writing to spite them, plus also I need Starscream/OP because I've been craving it for AAAAAGES (and I'm still not over that upsetting amnesia fic) and I have some fun acting out d/s motions + emotional implications to work in there. And I may hit up Megatron/Soundwave first because low-hanging fruit is always good stuff. But then I'm feeling ambitious and ready to tackle Soundwave/autobots ᕙ( * •̀ ᗜ •́ * )ᕗ

And, sidebar, I still need to write this up pretty for tumblr after I'm on a real computer, but I'm way too impatient for delayed gratification. There was all the discussion a while back about TFP Soundwave, and how he only has Laserbeak and none of the other cassettes are there, and speculation about the war, carriers having a certain optimal number of cassettes ,etc. BUT. Consider. The Vehicons and Eradicons. They follow Megatron, they'll listen to Starscream. But they adore Soundwave. Just imagine him doing the Batman parenting thing, like in that set of panels with Nightwing. Nightwing is talking out his problems, and Batman isn't saying anything in response, but he's listening the right way, and by the end of it Nightwing has worked his way around to the answer he needs. The Vehicons and Eradicons are treated as interchangeable, faceless mooks, but Soundwave knows that they're individuals, he listens to what they tell him, he cares, and he remembers.

 

It's one by mllemusketeer, who is an author I generally adore! It's set after the season 1/season 2 break, where OP has amnesia. Starscream gets VERY conditionally accepted back on board the ship by Megatron, but he knows that things are precarious, and he's still not happy there. And he sees this mech with connections, who's vulnerable, who doesn't have any proper friends on board....... he seduces Optimus for completely selfish purposes at first, but then suddenly Emotions

After he gets free with Optimus and takes him back to the autobots and seeks refuge, all the other autobots are HELLA skeptical and don't like the fact that Starscream is banging him. Starscream is abrasive, as he is, but he is starting to feel genuine things. Annnnnnnd then Optimus gets his memories back, tosses Starscream out on his ass, and because Starscream doesn't have anywhere else to go, he goes crawling back to Megatron, who immediately asserts his possession of Starscream, as he does. It feels like this is setting the stage for a reunion and reconciliation, but no. That's it. THE END.

I love the setup, but I was not at all ready for such a D: ending, and it hits me in my weak spot for massive damage, and not the fun it-all-works-out-eventually-and-the-happiness-feels-so-much-BETTER kind. It just makes me super sad with nothing to de-sad me :P

 

So larrydraws is no longer comfortable posting nsfw to tumblr, and cosmicdanger is backing away from tumblr for a while, in large part due to reactions to that megatron+starscream+rodimus comic. And I'm pretty sure a lot of bullshit comes down to that awfully written megatron/rodimus abuse meta post. I'm pissed, I'm spiteful, and as per usual I plan to channel that in the most mature possible manner.

Does anyone have any good ideas for megarod prompts? I am aiming to do the sweetest, most positive shipping, with kink that's like.... describing this is always hard. Kink that's emotionally centered. Doing bondage just because it's hot is fun, but like, doing bondage because you want to have control taken away from you and be forced to be helpless and dependent on the other person is even more fun. There's a big assortment of kinks over here and the sub-pages go into variants and some of the emotional stuff. I'll probably flip through later after I've worked out the angry through a little more vidya game time. But if anyone has megarod prompts/requests, I'd love to hear them.

maybe throw a spreader bar in for either case, where being exposed and available is a thing, for rodimus because he's very hedonistic and needy, even more needy than he's comfortable admitting, and this makes it so hard for him to pretend like he doesn't WANT, and for megatron because he is very restrained and controlled, and this significantly limits how he can control the way he carries himself, and leaves him very open.

I can maybe go back to piercings for either of them
