For those who like history, there was apparently at one point in the Beast Wars continuities an entire group of Maximals who turned into horses, the Thoroughbred Corps. All but one of them died.
So if Perceptor uses a reticle and a sniper rifle scope and turns into an actual microscope, what is the limit to how much zoom one man can crave? The limit does not exist. On today's dive into the TFWiki, it turns out that the Predacons (as in the group of five Decepticons who combine into Predaking) were originally slated to appear in the 1986 movie as Autobots called the Anibots, and instead of combining into a giant humanoid they originally combined into a dragon. I would have totally gone nuts the first time I saw the movie if they had made it in. Five robot animals that combine into a dragon! Even now I'm still bowled over by the sheer cool factor of the idea. Agh, I wish the Bay movies were better because one of them also has a bunch of Transformers that combine into a dragon, but the movies are just so bad and the dragon doesn't appear in enough of the footage to even make hunting down the clips worth it.
You know how in Transformers Devastation and the Bumblebee movie, Optimus and other mecha with battlemasks have a lot of satisfying oinky movement to them? I wish the mask I have to wear at work did that.
i wonder if there's any way to make an optimus-style facemask that's also not an ineffective health hazard...
