Depending on how you wanted to swing the anonymity thing, you could do a gangbang maybe? I mean I'm MegaRod as hell and having him as the primary dom type person appeals to me specifically is a good way to eliminate a lot of the harder interpersonal back and forth beyond flavor. Seconding the Megs/Tailgate prompts being hot as hell tho. DAT SIZE KINK
Those are some of my other frontrunners! My only hangup is getting a POV I'm feeling solid on, because this isn't a kink that comes naturally to me. Which is...... weird, because I have it, and I've got double air force parents (plus military cousins, uncles, and a soon-to-be-air-force little brother) and I would have joined if I could, but I do have a work history with the navy and am currently working a giant air force contract. So like. I know and love the military and have been absolutely stupidly silly about people in uniform since I can remember. But I can't write it for love or money. Ohhhh. Ohhhhhhhhhhh. this ship. It intrigues me :DDDDDD I'm mainly torn between one-on-one and pure gangbang. The gangbang is hot, but logistically, it's a nightmare :T And however the anonymity happens, Rodimus is going to be blinded/blindfolded (and gagged) so he has fewer ways to connect with his partner(s) as people, and a full-on gangbang would be awfully tricky to write without sight, especially with some of the emotions I want to get at. Hmm. It sounds so nice though >_> I'm kind of eyeing the plain gangbang prompt for Rodimus too (there are a few other characters I'd enjoy there, but he seems like someone I could actually write it for with minimal pain). I'm starting to think I could potentially tap into some nice abandonment issues and insecurities when it's just you and someone who-- okay, you know what you're supposed to be roleplaying right now but it's still. Still someone you trust, okay? More than trust. Who's always been so gentle with you, and you were starting to think maybe this was something real and lasting, but he isn't even saying a word, it's like you're not even here, but he's using you-- he wants you, but he doesn't want you, and, and you think you always knew that, somewhere deep inside, but you never wanted to admit it, not like this.
Ashdjsgak GODDAMN UR BEAUTIFUL WORDS. Also haha air force brat fistbump, I know that pain. I mean, any way you do it I can pretty much guarantee will be fantastic, but I see what you mean about the logistical nightmare. I hadn't thought about how hard to describe a gangbang would be if you can't.... see any of the participants.....
what the fuck. what the fuck? what the fuck. why do you like to hurt me? why do all of you like to hurt me also pssst @IvyLB DOUBLE PISTOLS AND A *WONK* AT THAT MEGAROD FIC (☞⋈~ᴗ★)☞
Oh man, I kind of feel your military kink pain, in that I get the appeal for people but it does absolutely nothing for me. I grew up and live next to a huge training base, and between that and the fact that one of my exes is a DI, I think I've just seen way too many awkward cadets and new soldiers for it to ping me. I would like to subscribe to your newsletter. YES, PLEASE GIVE ME ALL OF THE SELF-ESTEEM/DADDY ISSUES STORIES. Especially if you're planning to make it better at the end.
SECONDING THIS --- For some reason I can't quite figure out, Soundwave's speech patterns in Autocracy make me really happy. ...is he from the Functionist period? (When in-comic does governmental functionism start and end?) Because I would be SO HERE for him bring reduced to his record-replay functions, and the difference in speech patterns between Autocracy!SW and RiD!SW being him growing out of and recovering from that mindset. Just. Give me all the recovery stories, ALL OF THEM. Spoiler: Autocracy 4-5 why am I not surprised that rodimus/hotrod was a fuckign decepticon rebel and/or a political pain in the ass for Zeta. I am so glad to see the ridiculous flame son, I made actual physical noises of happiness when Zeta pulled up the holo of him. ...Aaaand he still has a thing for the Knights of Cybertron even as a smol rebel racecar. Awww, lookit him, he's precious.
*clears throat* *actually lol joke literally says -ahem-* yes Okay I realize this might be the boringest idea ever but... What fi you do this as Megatron/Rodimus with Megs roleplaying as a Prime. But liek how Primes were before the war. And it's kind of awkward for Megatron but Rodimus is SO into it and the whole thing gets super worship-y and Megatron keeps going 'Primus save my spark, I'm going to hell' whenever Rodimus uses the words "My Prime" to address him? Bonus points if Megs is initially only tentatively going with the scenario bc he thinks it will get weird because of his past (and because really he'd like to do this to rodimus, not the other way around) *lies down and whines* this is going to hurt my feelings isn't it? also! *blows u a kissu* ayyyyyy
this newsletter is mostly me gesturing and going 'wouldn't that be hot' without saying much of substance, but sure.
Yes, but that means that when absolutely nothing is going on at work but I still have to look like I'm ready to spring into action at a moment's notice (now), I have things to contemplate. Being intellectually unfulfilled and jumping off other people's ideas is where all my good thinks come from. That's what caused that Megatron meta, haha.
Man, I wonder how Megatron would feel knowing that Tailgate wanted to be a decepticon for a while based off a (very) brief and clinical version of the start of the war. (I still love that he threw himself into Magnus's lessons on the autobot code though, and listened. I wonder if anyone else on that ship has as full and thorough a knowledge about it as Tailgate and Ultra Magnus.)
My first thought is 'proud that his original ideals still resonate while sad/angry that everything went so wrong' - a big complicated mess of emotions he'd have to take a lot of time to sort out. (how much do I love that thinking about and talking about his feelings are things megatron does now, let me count the ways.) Edit: also I really want to know exactly how biased the video account Tailgate got was. I really wanted that to be explored more, because I'm pretty sure that in a war neither side comes out smelling like roses. I kind of want something where, say, maybe Ravage talks to him about the war and some of that comes out, which makes Tailgate pretty conflicted. He tends to throw himself wholeheartedly into everything - nuance is not his strength and I'd love to see him puzzle out exactly what he thinks with all the pertinent information at hand.
Unrelated: went to ride a steam train for little bro's birthday. Hot damn that machinery. New appreciation for just how giant the giant robots' parts must be, like. Wow. I am a Good Writer with the perfect words for every occasion.
Yeah, I'd like to see that too. There were definitely a lot of atrocities perpetuated by the 'Cons, but I think it was in one of the DJD issues where someone mentioned "Optimus and Megatron sitting back and playing chess with millions of lives"? So I want to know how much of the 'Bot war crimes got glossed over, and whether anyone actually approached the existence of MTOs on both sides, and the issues with some of the command structure. Plus you've got a lot of passivity on the 'Bot side right up until Megs started to establish himself as a power in place of the Primes, so how much of the 'all evil needs is for a good man to look away and do nothing' crimes can be laid at the feet of the 'Bots? Also even the LL crew can just be mean sometimes, and I don't think Tailgate parses that all the time. Which doesn't surprise me! I think he wants to believe everyone likes each other as much as he likes them, which is why it hasn't occurred to him that Whirl's name might not be Nutjob. (Also that's... not actually that wild of a name to think might be real, so poor fucking Tailgate wouldn't have a reason to ask. Poor Whirl.)
What I'm especially curious about is if Tailgate knows about Zeta Prime aside from "Megatron 'sploded his head." Because Zeta Prime was a piece of work, and he did a lot towards losing the Autobot moral high ground.
Is there a particular run/issue number that goes over that, or is it just a general theme in the older comics? I'd like to learn more about that in particular, sounds interesting.
I may be wrong, but I think it's mainly just the Autocracy miniseries that deals with this. Spotlight: Blurr touches on a liiiiiiiittle of Zeta's business, but it definitely doesn't cover any of his assholery.
Yeah, Autocracy was the one I read with most of Zeta's bullshit. Also the one which sort of has Orion Pax's oh-shit moment wrt the Primes and just how shit they are.
Thirding Autocracy, I'm reading through it now and Zeta's the Prime through a good chunk of it. Not necessarily a character spotlight, but definitely a good enough look for "why does everyone hate Zeta?". --- ...I know steam power isn't really a thing for cybertronians, but I kind of want to see an engine-car robot. Just for a cowcatcher chestplate.
