I am working on a thing that is now a different thing from yesterday because what is my attention span and I was suffering from plot-bunny-assault on public transport and then I started writing in class I MIGHT NEED HELP Spoiler: (CyGateWhirl) but mostly Whirl/Feelings So you know how people sometimes claim that they'd rather not learn things? Yeah that's you. The thing you've learned today is that loudly complaining about being bored when Cyclonus is in the room is a terrible mistake. And, really from anyone else you'd have probably just ignored a freaking book rec, but from Cyclonus? Look he might be offensively purple and have an attitude problem (The problem being that he had a problem with your attitude), but statistically it's just unlikely that on top of all that his taste would be scrap. Or he is trying to challenge you and you've never backed down from a fragging challenge. And also you are so bored your spark might spontaneously stop just so something happens. So you give it a try. And of course you immediately regret it. You know enough about human culture to be aware of the fact that this is one of those books sentimental whiners are fond of. And, really, anyone who's ever heard of you knows that Whirl doesn't do mushy feelings. So you should've put the book aside. Really should've. Buuuut, you don't. Because by then you are hooked and maybe you don't normally do the feelings thing, but you feel for Jane Eyre.

No one’s gonna start a slagging support group for bots who don’t wake up screaming. You sleep through the night without a problem? Congratulations! You win! Your scrap got processed real good, you well-adjusted spawn of a glitch, you! So there it is. Put ‘not having nightmares’ down in the ‘good things’ column. everyone writing about whirl having feelings is giving me good feelings and I love it and also I am literally reading Jane Eyre for the first time and don't even really know what it's about beyond a horrifically abused ten-year old so Whirl will be like five chapters into the book during this fanfic because that's how far I am (I realize this is stupid to say about classic literature i'm reading for class but PLS DON'T SPOILER JANE EYRE FOR ME?)
Spoiler: chaos theory idfk if this actually needs to be spoilered but Reading this going "whirl :(" for like, both issues (and a little bit of "megatron :(" even though I already knew all of this going in) but hoooo boy the matrix shit also. Wow. What does it say about OP that the matrix hurt him but felt natural to Rodimus? Is it that the modifications to make him a matrix bearer were unnatural, or is it that the weight of his own morals and the significance of events surrounding it made it painful to bear? Aaaaand I wonder if that says anything about who 'deserves' to be prime. I wonder if it hurt any of the primes that came before?
