I'm reading the previews for Commander2016 and
"The Esper shard of Alara is driven by the "Noble Work," an effort to augment all living things with an aether-infused alloy called etherium."
Either I missed this the first time I read the lore for Alara or I completely forgot it, but. Please do not let Esper and the Phyrexians meet.

dang, man. i had a green flash growth deck made for getting big beefy creatures (some of whom grew bigger and beefier based on the number of forests i controlled, or the number of deaths they witnessed) out quickly... and i only had like 3 proper eldrazi in it, and that was plenty.

 

my boyfriend has a deck based around getting FAR TOO MANY ELDRAZI and then feeding them to vampires
...
i insist the vampires are going to feel very sick after that.

 

If vampires could eat Eldrazi I think Battle for Zendikar would've turned out very differently :P

 

so, I had literally two lands and one useable card in the last game I played XD
I did NOTHING the whole time.

 

in other news, my social circle is discussing an us as planeswalkers au, based off of our preferred planes and when we started.
it's amazing.

 

have just played and won first commander game
was fun
had 107 life by the end XD

and not to yell too much about the story, but someone on my tumblr dash summarized the first half as "it's my party and I'll die if I want to" and I cannot stop fuckign giggling
