Why is the concept of these dating videos so intrinsically funny? I mean, these are real clips and not a goof, but the idea itself has been used in various media over the years to great comedic effect. Its not pure nostalgia either, im too young to remember or really have much context at all for these weird dating tapes and yet i always laugh when its a gag in something. It carries a strange absurdity with it i suppose, as well as an unintended impersonal feel.
