/busts down the door/ I just saw the movie and they reference the Tet Corporation in the starting credits so immediately I got chills, and ajalndlsfmdlf Spoiler I really, really want this to take place as Roland's next run through, without the mistakes that set him back to the beginning. It melds and remixes a lot of elements from future books in a way that actually worked really well, for me, and the potential consequences of this entirely new timeline could be so interesting to explore Dammit I want this movie to be getting better reviews, so we can see how these changes all play out in future movies. I was worried from the trailer that they were ham-fistedly trying to insert over the top stuff to make it more "blockbuster"-y, but it flowed so much better seeing it all in person, and hearing the gunslinger creed gets better every damn time
