    helloaf i need to do several things

    • Call my insurance broker abt health insurance for a short trip thats happening saturday
    • Urhrbrbg call both health insurances and ask....do u cover glucose sensors, so i can decide how to proceed
    • File claim for glasses from november oops
    • Probably drop off xmas cards at 2 peoples houses
    • Write 6 months of rent cheques, give them to my landlady with xmas card, mom thinks i should also give candy
    • Write postcard to family
    • Box up the stuff im sending to my family and take it to the shipping place
    • Buy granola bars
    • This is too many thing
    Edit: the granola bars and broker items 100% need to be done by friday

    My mom paid for the glasses so i should do that asap to pay her back

    The rest can be pushed off without much harm other than disappointing people so i guess check in with me on monday for those? Thank

    but I didn't get to talk to them or even leave a voicemail
    for some reason I got this thing that was like
    "the person you're trying to contact is currently not taking calls" or something?
    so

    ,,,,,,, ok i am opening the file. good luck to me. i've been stalled on this for weeks and i can't seem to find a loose thread to tug on, the whole business is just opaque. but i won't get anywhere if i don't open the file and stare at it a bit so here goes.

    ◆ Dinner: pierogi w hotdog, cauliflower
    ◆ Snack: cottage cheese n tato chips

    Wednesday
    ◆ Breakfast: egg on toast, drinky, cran juice
    ◆ Lunch: tuna sammich, salad, good thins
    ◆ Dinner: stoo noodle, corn
    ◆ Snack: ice cream

    Thursday
    ◆ Breakfast: pbh, drinky, apple
    ◆ Lunch: hamburger, tuna mac
    ◆ Dinner: salmon, mock duck rice
    ◆ Snack: carrots n hummus

    friday (no barb)
    ◆ Breakfast: pbh, drinky, apple
    ◆ Lunch: chicken kiev, rice, cauliflower
    ◆ Dinner: square za
    ◆ Snack: yogurt with crunchies

    saturday
    ◆ Breakfast: eggy rice, juice, drinky
    ◆ Lunch: cucumber sammich, tuna mac
    ◆ Dinner: taco beef, chili rice, corn chips
    ◆ Snack: cottage cheese n tato chips

    Sunday
    ◆ Breakfast: cheesy eggs, sausage, juice
    ◆ Lunch: udon w basic chicken sliced on top
    ◆ Dinner: hot dogs, corn, seebs tatos
    ◆ Snack: pb toast w sugar

    Does anyone in this thread have advice or strategies or tools for going to bed on time or being able to reliably adjust your own sleep schedule? I’ve been having to get up at 6:45 for the past 6 weeks, and at 8:30 ish for a few months before that, but my brain is completely convinced that I’m still working the closing shift that had me at work from 2:30-11 pm and the chronic sleepdep is becoming less and less tolerable. I have literally no idea how to begin with this. “Try to remember that the future exists even though it isn’t happening to you right now” is a nonstarter, that’s for damn sure.

    what's been working somewhat for me is to make bedtime something pleasant that i look forward to. got my kitty to snuggle, can of fizzy water for the thirsties, maybe a little quiet music, turn off all the lights except the dim little bedside table lamp and play puzzle games until my eyelids feel heavy. it's relax time when i can let my mind wander.

    it also helps that i take my allergy meds at bedtime. if it comes down to it, benedryl is effective stuff.
