I can manage to pretend to be a normal person well enough that it pisses me off to be alone. Because it's like "but I normal well enough, why do these jerks get people and I don't". I sound like a bitter incel, don't I. ugh.
I'm guessing part of the answer is that you fake it well enough but there's so little showing through of you that there's nothing to grasp. The armor is too good.
