Tonight probably the closest or a close second that I have ever come to losing a D&D character. He got aged like 30 years by a ghost and considering he was already 47 and dragonborn only live to about 80 or so he was in a Bad Way after that. Dynas isn't the kind of person who ever thought of retirement as an option and he probably wouldn't deal with that well. Certainly wouldn't have been able to stay with the party.
