Their method of reproduction makes sexes more or less irrelevant anyway, so yeah, makes sense. Though if it's tied to castes that just make me imagine Kankri trying to tear into Kanaya for her sexuality being pr96lematic.
...didn't Kankri try to tear into Porrim for her sexuality being pr96lematic? I recall him being a snot to her about something to do with, I want to say gender politics? But I really can't remember for sure.
Gender politics and being a slut. He slut shames her about her moirailing and goes on a rant about how sexism isn't real.
Ah. Yeah, the second part (how he started ranting about how sexism don't real, interrupting Porrim trying to explain the issues that jades on Beforus faced) sounds about like what I fuzzily remembered.
She also mentions how the Empress is actually just a puppet and male dominated castes are behind most of the big decisions.
Not sure if this is the correct place to post this, but despite me not being trans, fics where characters I like are trans/genderqueer make me feel... idk, satisfied? Content? Just really good in general. For example, I just read a fic in which Jason Todd was a trans woman named Violet, and something about this one in particular just... really delighted me. Partly I think because she was 30 when she came out. Also, I will constantly spend hours thinking about fics I like except some of the characters are genderbent, or trans, or genderbent and trans, and it makes me really happy, so... take that as you will, I guess.
One of my OCs is canonically agender and exists in large part so I have someone to draw wearing beautiful runway fashion (they're elegant and would just love that). Also: Marie from Innocent? Probably Agender. Like, very probably. As in, certainly so. Makishima Yuusuke from Yowapeda is probably NB or a Trans woman. I can see them eother way? Although I can also believe they're agender as well, so. Not cis at all.
