Spoiler: Divorce spoilers RNG was cruel to me and she got super jealous after I gave a gift to Leah, who is at 2 hearts so not even classed at friends. I then got the adoption dialogue 4 days in a row until I accepted. She continued to be kinda weird after that. It's like. At 6+ hearts maybe that reaction would be reasonable, but at that level it comes across as super controlling and unhealthy. SO I paid 50k to get the divorce, and it said she wouldn't know until the NEXT MORNING, which. AWKWARD. She knocked her part of the house down and took her stuff with her and was gone before I woke up. Divorce is nasty and she fucking looks at me with red yandere eyes now. I had a theory that she was a changeling, and now I'm worried I pissed off a fae being and am going to be saddled with a kid I didn't want. ACTUAL WORST NIGHTMARE

You can erase the memories of the marriage at the witch's hut, but also apparently the ex-spouse is totally reset to zero hearts and doesn't recognize you except as the 'new farmer.' Which sounds even more heartbreaking. I'm sorry things didn't go well, @KathyGaele :c
It's very interesting from an RP standpoint, but oh god. Also she's at zero hearts now too. I wouldn't be able to use that statue on a normal character, let alone my Me character @.@ So I'm going to start over. Stick her entirely in the friend corner. Maybe Leah or Elliot are sane.
So I shelled out the £11 and started my farming journey today I don't have the slightest idea what I'm doing but I honestly don't want people telling me because I like investigating stuff for myself. xP I'm also not insanely hot on MAXIMISE EVERYTHING because the notion scares me when I'm so new and useless. So I'm just pootlin' around picking stuff up off the ground and trying desperately to befriend Elliot (I've just learned how. Son, you will be friends with me or fucking bust, you sauve douche) My farmer has blue skin and bright green eyes and a cat named Schnookums and also a permanently wide-eyed and cheery look on their face. Whoop whoop!

Oh hell yes. When I have the energy for it I'm going to do some bed tweaks, and maybe make a modded table that functions as an aquarium for displaying the fish in.

An easy way of getting around the bug is always giving a gift to a nonromance NPC after giving one to one of the dateable characters. This is why I tend to get everyone in the tavern around ten hearts at the same time. Its cheating if Leah gets a beer, but it's friendly if everyone gets a beer.
Oh man I am so sick of working on this set anyway the silo is the wooden tower over there, I might put a ladder up to the top, or... something. It's hard to find pictures of silos at more angles than 'photogenic'. haven't done the well because it looks good enough and really this is the RIVER FARM building set, who needs a well there? Or the slime hutch because fuck the slime hutch. And I'm not going to bother with the mill because this mod exists (although I might rust it up a little).
