i made Mistakes on new gryphon character's save and loaded a backup save to fix them and uhhh what the fresh hell is this thing It's named Herbal Lavender Seeds, but it's got the sprite and description of a cashew sapling. It can't be planted anywhere. I'm in year one. I have three of these things. I put them in a chest but seriously what???
ive had a similar issue when i added more crop mods to my thelaruin file, and hats to thelamuir, so id guess its jsonassets bugging out wrt item ids. toss/sell, get new ones -- newly generated items arent affected. and check your chests for more id issues.

god those things give me heart failure every time I hear the noise D8 gotta get perfect at batting them away. At least they have nice drops, and my strategy of 'carry a huge stack of berries and chomp them en masse in lieu of carrying healing dishes and potions like a normal person' usually works.
im playing with mods for the first time after a dozen times of playing vanilla and tbh being able to waltz down hundreds of floors in skull cavern to collect shit is great, everything being pink and pastel is fantastic, i got to fight with a giant kitty paw for a while, i love my tractor and not having to fight and being able to actually just marry who i want earlyish on instead of getting all the way to winter and then having to wait till spring comes around again is NiceTM. i cant even remember why i avoided mods so long, this is so relaxing.

anyone here play SDV on Switch that would like to multiplayer sometime? :> I just multi-ed for the first time with someone from the SDV Discord, first (IRL) day of play went fine, then on the second day I got called a 'useless bitch' (as a response to my (gently!) pointing out that if he was just going to use a glitch to infinitely duplicate gold bars to sell, it kinda invalidated all my ceaseless efforts thus far to fish many fish for money and bring home ore from the mines if they were just gonna get All The Money from duping and thus could buy anything anyways.) So I'm hoping to find a more friendly partner to play with? :'D
turns out that stardew has no DRM and so once you buy it once you can copy it to other locations on your computer to have multiple instances of stardew with different mod builds!
