Some vanillacraft screenshots The entrance hall. needs some more bling. And lightning (probably sea lanterns. we need to: 1) find an ocean monument 2) clear out said ocean monument 3) build a guardian farm there The dick tower so far Closeup of the roof construction Detailing! Thank you @IvyLB for the beautiful idea <> More roof construction detail What the sea lantern part looks like inside
what if you build some sort of crystalline structure atop it. Potentially made of endrods. Just. riiiiight on the tip. A chandelier outside the tower so to say. I'm not immature, you're immature. :P
oh ye, new mattress! my futon started hurting in earnest and through the topper... the mattress is as big as the futon but doesnt roll i may or may not have rolled off it in the second night. during the day i have it leaning against the wall is verrah comfy.
WHY INDEED That's too many, put some back Crop rotation system? less yield of each per seasn but less stress
That would necessitate more complicated caluclations beforehand. Once I have access to Iridium Sprinklers, I can dial it down a bit because everything that regrows gets put into the Greenhouse. The Greenhouse mod I use has more space, but with all the new crops it's still less space, whoops. But more space for the trees, too. Speaking of. New season, same as the last.
Original Greenhouse Mod (Secret Gardens) Slightly expanded Greenhouse Mod. Still need to place a few more tree areas, and fill out the large green unused area. Maybe more planting space?
First of all, I finished the Greenhouse modification, and considering the utter dearth of pretty greenhouse mods for SDV, everyone except the vanilla farmer (Thelamuir) and the spark (Udane) will get the Secret Gardens one -- although Thelaruin is the only one who'll get the expanded SG, because that's too many trees otherwise. Then, we got a couple things done on my MC server ::3 a nether fortress raid (will need to return with more people to deal with all the damn blazes and make the blaze farm tho), and lit up a mineshaft. So many spiders. So, so many spiders. My dreams last night were full of minecraft and spiders. And endermen in people costumes. And the nether bursting through into the overworld. And lava bursting through nether portals. But mostly spiders. And I continued working on the lighthouse / beacon tower. It looks less like a dong now. Floor design, not sure which colour to take yet. View of the little balconies and their floor designs. The topmost will be sniping positions. Oh yes, I built a sniping tower and lit up the rest of the town. At the bottom of the tower is a place where you can fight the endermen you've aggroed. ETA: Oops, forgot the giant tower of ores I decimated with a fortune pickaxe. It was 80 blocks high, and looked like a cigarette from the side. Sometimes, since I'm on Zoloft, I get these states of mind where I'm acutely aware that I'm a Person who Exists. I talked about it with my psych and mentioned I'd check the mirror next time. Well, I got the opportunity this morning, and I do not like mirrors in this state. Intellectually I know it's reflected light and myself looking back, but I know now where the myths of window mirrors come from, of other worlds behind the glass, and it's quite unsettling.
Oh gosh So My aunt had white hair by the time she was thirty? Her mother's hair is still salt-and-pepper by age almost 90, and it didn't happen for her two brothers or her son either -- But I just found a white hair where none had business of being on my head, complete with ombre to dark brown at the tip and I am *so. psyched.* for this.
Almost finished! To do: Stained glass windows (4 each of 5x27 and 5x16) Piston door Airship dock support Decide whether or not to lengthen the thinner part of the tower Airships And deciding which stained glass colour to take as backdrop here. I'm supposed to be good with colours, but the 16 hue restriction is kicking my arse. excuse me, sir
Also I have a design for a 3x3x3.5 bolt hole containing: a door a bed a crafting table an anvil an enderchest two shulker boxes three furnaces four normal chests it also has an inverted daylight sensor activated redstone lamp so no nasties can spawn inside
crossposted from the minecraft thread if you squint you can see the little colour pixels that make it look like it's floating in space
i think this poor tower is just going to collect fond but unfortunate nicknames forever, but at least windmill is better than dicktower :P
Fixed the sheds so you can access the lowest line of tiles. Made a table wrt planting stuff, and planning on coding it. also expanded the fields permanently to 26 (except winter, im not that insane). why 26? because thats the number of fall crops + mixed seeds. spring and summer have doubled fields. ... i'd update it to 27 or 28 so i can have more pumpkins, but space. ::/ sadly, the autograbber also grabs json asset flowers. the random trees are because i am critically low on wood ;;_;;
it occurred to me that once we have a bit of a surplus of shulker boxes, i can make emergency shelter boxes that contain everything you need to make one of my microshelters shovel pickaxe bed iron door crafting table torch anvil banner 2 buttons 2 stone blocks (furnace+stone = 7) 4 chests 5 furnaces (furnace+stone = 7) 7 stairs 12 slabs emergency milk emergency water emergency food emergency coal emergency iron map? wood?
the other removed from her head but there's simply not enough resources/clues to hunt her down yet, there is work to be done, so agatha returns to mechanicsburg, and rules. steps are taken to rebuild the empire, and, more importantly, the infrastructure and settlements and fields. all hail the lady heterodyne, terrible and beautiful and benevolent. barry drags himself back home. maybe he brings bill with him. battered, exhausted. they hear whispers of the "lady heterodyne" who rules the empire. they are not sure, is it agatha? and even if it is -- the seat of power is mechanicsburg. she rules more than just it, and she utilizes the jägers. even if it is agatha, she is heterodyne. too much like the old. they don't know what to expect. maybe they are able to dodge the jägers and recognition while they make their way to mechanicsburg. maybe they don't, and are brought there anyways. van had made sure no one can make money off of agatha's likeness without paying tribute and without her approval of imagery, so most of it not of the scantly-clad seductive woman. was she convinced to leave the statues up? and so they imagine a Heterodyne, even if punch and judy did their best. but there is talk of her two consorts, and of how she is the one who has the last word (in truth they are more equal, but the populace sees a heterodyne queen, and surmise that she is the one who rules). bill imagines lucrezia, and focuses on healing and the road instead. barry imagines a mad spark queen, an impossible mixture of (mortal) god queen of a lost city, spark, lucrezia, theodora, judy, and heterodyne. beautiful and strong and willing to get her way by any means possible. (maybe not any means. there is a lot of anti-other work done. perhaps... perhaps it truly is not lucrezia) the castle recognizes them immediately and shuffles them towards the castle. they do not get to meet agatha now. her chief minion intercepts them -- he must be, he yelled at the castle and it just snarked back -- says she'd been awake for three days straight and they only now finally got her to sleep. everything else can wait until tomorrow. it takes gkika to herd them to the great hospital to get a checkup. theyre kept overnight. their exhaustion catches up with them. they wake up to loud footsteps outside, and a sparky, female (almost lucrezia, almost) voice yelling about how she shouldve been woken up. the voice of the chief minion yells back that they finally got her to sleep since three days, and remember the miniature death ray while she repaired the castle, you know, the one that blasted a hole in the mountain? the one the castle referred to as too high-powered even dialed all the way down? a third voice tells them to pipe down, it's a hospital. and you will wait outside until they want to see you. barry catches a glimpse of her through the door when the doctor comes in. bill asks if it's really -- really his daughter. or if-- the doctor confirms that the other has been removed from the lady heterodyne's head, they can look over the notes later. and asks if they want to see her. yes, barry says. it's been too long.
