I accidentally stabbed my throat with a fork earlier in the day while eating and now my throat is in phantom fork hell while i'm tryying to fall asleep.

 

One of the customer service supervisors thinks she can steal people out of other departments for hours at a time and I am Fucking Done with her, we have actual goddamn work to do

 

Zipping up brushes for mobile only devices so to access the files for my mobile device, that I downloaded through a website for mobile-only programs, that are designed to work only in this mobile app, I have to play the fucking cloud sharing desktop game where I'm bouncing between two fucking devices for no reason because we couldn't look forward and go "golly gee! perhaps someone who wants the MOBILE FILES for their MOBILE DRAWING APP that only works on MOBILE DEVICES may want to download them directly onto that MOBILE DEVICE that CANNOT UNZIP FILES."

Fuckers.

 

trying to find that one paper that you remember by just an author (when you have multiple papers by that author) or by a vague figure or sometimes just by general subject matter and a hunch that it might have been published in 2016

especially when you have 700+ papers in your library

update: found the paper, but now endnote is saying no papers by "giovannoni" exist in my library when i have like. at least three with him as first author and i have no idea how to tell it that they absolutely exist, i can see them when i go to endnote online and search "giovan"

Tumblr seems to have pushed some update that makes xkit wig the entire hell out, so now the site is even less functional than usual.

 

I have exactly one (1) bug bite on my ankle, and it itches infrequently enough that every single time it starts back up is a nasty surprise

 

The fact that I had all day today and still did not manage to finish all the work I had to do which means I will have to do it tonight at home

 

Etsy screwing with its users by increasing fees and skimming the shipping so we have to knowingly overcharge customers for it. Eh, I'm in the process of a remake anyway, gonna move the new shit to Storenvy, I think.

 

Rating this Useful because I was thinking of restarting my own Etsy. That is such a huge bummer. :/

I'm currently running a fandom week, and a participant reblogged and added a violent self-deprecating rant about their art to another artist's submission post. Reading that was somewhat emotionally distressing, honestly, and I'm not someone who typically reacts to that stuff. Anyway, I'll keep it short since the thread title is 'annoying', not 'worrying'.

I don’t understand why potholes go unfixed when taxes are supposed to go toward fixing them. I feel like I’m living in some kind of surreal comedy show.

Speaking as someone with a minor line on a state government: because an unfortunate percentage of people in power would rather spend them on drug-testing people on food stamps or giving tax bonuses to greyhound racing, leaving more potholes than there is money.

(Or, in at least one major municipality in my state, apparently because the county government pays such lousy wages that nobody wants to work on the road crews.)
