I don’t think so, the head cashier was right next to me to tell me to take my 15 minute break and she didn’t say anything. I think this area is just full of conservatives compared to where I used to live. It’s a real culture shock for me, and half the customers at this Home Depot are either Jewish or Hispanic.

I want a webcam to watch a CNC machine at work, so I can check on it from anywhere. I had one and it worked great until it didn't. Now I want another one, but all of them that I can find use apps that require outrageous permissions like "create accounts on your device", "access contacts", or "device and app history".

edit: i'm also really pissed at whoever made this. not just for their fearmongering horseshit to begin with but also the fact that their fake isn't even a good one. the lack of all caps in the headline aside it is also not the correct font and it isn't even worded like how it should be. there is a fucking method to how these things are done, god dammit. at the very least put in the bare effort to learn what fucking fonts these assholes use if you're going to be a lying shitbag.

Made her clingier and much less competent, made Vimes annoyed at her, cut a bunch of her Dragon Facts and put less detailed versions of the information in Vimes's dialogue, and, the ultimate sin, made her sentimentally anthropomorphize animals by calling a pair of courting dragons "in love." Lady Sybil would never.

I'm the only worker on a product design project. I'm repeatedly told it's not the top priority and my other work comes first, but why isn't it done yet? I have three bosses telling me that I can't solve the issues the way I know how to, because it would take too long and cost too much compared to solving a problem with their pet feature that I don't know how to solve without a complete product redesign. We had a working prototype a year ago of the way I want to do it.
