Other thing that is irritating. If you have volume controls on headphones stupid Apple OS is designed to like override those and attach their functions to the fucking music app. Which means that you can push the button and then itunes opens up. There is no way of turning this bullshit off. They also made it harder for you to outright remove music from the computer.

Stop fucking doing shit for my convenience. I don't want my computer to do anything fancier than like ctrl+alt+del. If you get fancier than very specific keyboard presses which are nigh impossible for me to fuck up then I'm going to be pissed. Especially if you don't let me turn it off. You can keep your garbage ass feature so long as you let me turn it off.

Representative Gary Palmer (R-AL) just went on MSNBC and claimed, on national TV, that 'China now has a bigger navy that we do', and the anchor didn't even immediately laugh and end the call.

It wasn't even relevant to the topic. They were talking about 'voter fraud'. Maybe the Chinese smuggled in all the Biden votes with their ghost carriers.

My friend is really upset because their beta readers are being stupid, among other things thinking that depicting racism and transphobia in a story about the Mafia in the year 1980 is an endorsement of those things. I do not know a damn thing about the subject that wasn't picked up from old Simpsons episodes so I can't help them.

 

dude that is not even what happened lmao, they betas weren't critisizing the setting, and they're perfectly familiar with dark topics, they were criticizing that unexamined racism and transphobia from them as the writer after they specifically asked for sensitivity readers. get off your high horse.

I can't find the hand or pants refs I need to finish this gd WIP I'm working on for a secret santa gift, and I keep giving up in disgust when I search on DeviantArt or google images and run facefirst into unwanted NSFW or fetish art that has little to no relevance to what I'm looking for

and also no one in the like, eight Discord servers I'm in that has an art channel will give it a look-over :V oh well people can do what they want with their time and energy

 

What kind of references do you need? Hands in a specific pose, specific type of pants? I can look for you if you need.

 

@ChelG aw that's nice X) and it's more like pants in a specific pose because I don't know how folds around the waist/groin area work for seated characteres At All, and just the right sort of gesture for the hand, which I haven't found despite combing many pages of DeviantArt hand sketches- I've been kinda looking for like a 3D hand model that you can rotate/pose online, but all I can find are apps or things you download which isn't really an option atm :F

Oh yeah, related so we don't veer off topic- is there a good topic for soliciting WIP opinions? I know there's a 'post your WIPs' thread but I don't want to post it just for its own sake, I just need help/eyes xD

Think my monitor has finally kicked the bucket. It's been flickering on and off for a couple of weeks now.

 

Tried to take out two weeks worth of trash and discovered the bag had split. It smelled so bad - it got to the point where it started to smell like burning. I didn't even know it could do that >_<

 

People not understanding that the hunting of things like white tailed deer is important to conserving the environments that these animals live in. Especially in areas where non-human predators were killed off.
