There's definitely a bit of a learning curve, too, it takes a while to be able to gauge "I can probably survive" vs "I need to heal now" on whatever kin you're using. I have a 50 Pumperilla (who was a gift from my housemate) and I generally heal any time <400 HP remaining unless I can kill the thing in the next hit.

 

Gaia just got mentioned in Extra Credits as an example of terrible hyperinflation despite ostensible money sinks. . Still hilarious.

 

Yep, hence the title of this thread, lmao, it was truly ridiculous. I'm honestly kind of glad I was on hiatus during the worst of it, I would probably have cried trying to keep up with the price raises.

The only time I do runway is when I have a free entry sitting around and they're doing the mermaid theme.

 

I did runway for about a week and figured out that I was never ever ever going to win with an avi who is not white and has cat ears and character designs that were not subtle layering of the same one or two colours, then quit.

 

I only do it when it gives me free entries for categories that I can actually do decently at. I figure I'm not likely to get anything but trying can't hurt.

One thing I've noticed though is that holy shit does runway love their background items. God damn. Can you guys Not.

 

It's because a lot of things do not show up very well without a background.

 

Never had that trouble, personally. I find most avatars with backgrounds too busy.

so this girl wants to "collaborate" with me on a ticket, which turns out to mean that she wants me to reimburse her for half of a ticket she's already purchased and made the mocks for the item for and I will get x amount of the items when they come in.

that is "sponsorship" or "investing" not "collaboration".

I tell her that I am only interested in doing it in the future if it's an actual collab, and she says she wants to do a recolour of an item that I just sent in a recolour for.
