Call her mom then flirt with her and you get some special dialogue at the end. It was worth it.

Omg. So I copied and deleted my no mercy route to go pacifist instead, and uh. I'm refusing to use healing items. So I lost against Papyrus.

He tried to lock me in their garage, which is a guest room for dogs. I escaped and went to fight him again. He was out looking for me, worried I had gotten lost. I deliberately lost the fight again. The second time, he asked me to please not escape again, and that he had upgraded the facilities so I wouldn't want to!!

He cut up a hotdog to put in the dog food dish.

He is a very silly skeleton who is referencing dogs in his how-to caring for a human

    Also, this gem:

    THAT WOULD BE GRAMATICALLY WRONG!
BECAUSE THE CORRECT FORM WOULD BE
NOT AS PERSISTENTEST AS PAPYRUS, THE PERSISTENTESTEST!

I just finished doing a more murdery neutral run. At the end I killed Flowey and he told me he knew I had it in me, and after Sans's phone call the game went right back to the sepia opening intro like it usually does. I'd assumed that unlike the first two I did (friendly neutral then pacifist), this one would have been a more stand-alone playthrough, but then I was told that my name had already been chosen and I couldn't change it. And then I walked to the entrance of the ruins and Flowey wasn't there, presumably because I killed him. So now I'm confused.

Is the game prompting me to do anything with this? Am I "supposed" to do a genocide run next, like I was supposed to go the pacifist route when Flowey challenged me to after my first neutral run? I don't understand what I need to do next to follow where the story wants me to go and it's distressing me. And I know I'm probably worrying way too much about what I'm "supposed" to do, since the game is about the choices you make, but if I end up doing it wrong and the story gets messed up or doesn't follow the Correct Path then it will seriously bother me the whole way.

Ugh, I remember why I don't play a lot of games. I spend way too much time worrying about following the right prompts and missing cues and doing things wrong and then I end up ruining the experience anyway and everything is unsatisfying. Well, not everything, because this game is going to be good no matter how you play it, but still. Immersion is hard.

If I am supposed to do a genocide run here, I'm not sure if I'm emotionally prepared. That violent neutral run was way harder than I expected :(

If anyone does have advice on what route to take next, I'd appreciate if it could be as spoiler-free as possible! Though I've already gotten a ton of minor spoilers. Thanks~

As far as I can tell from having watched a number of LPs and read a lot of meta, no, not really. All the game seems to lead you to do, insofar as it does, is to encourage you (somewhat perversely) to experiment with your runs.

Since you DID reset, but it wasn't a true reset (you can only do that after a true pacifist run), Flowey isn't gone... but since he remembers, he won't show up to taunt you now that you've killed him once. He'll only show up at the end.

flowey is still stalking you though. You might still see him if you go back out of rooms the way you came.

I'd guessed that that might be the case. Not dying is kind of his whole thing, after all. Thank you!

Was thinking about how a Sans cosplay might look, and now I can't stop imagining Skelebro War Boys. Would draw, but cannot draw.

I was gonna be lazy and just do it with facepaint but I'm p sure if I was doing it seriously I'd construct a solid mask and paint my face black underneath, so that shoots in low light would look real cool.

MY TIME HAS COME AS I KNOW SOMETHING ABOUT FURSUIT MASK CONSTRUCTION WHICH AMAZINGLY MIGHT COME IN HANDY FOR MAKING THOSE KINDS OF MASKS!

also hi i know how to do the eyes at least to be REALLY cool. c: you wouldn't need to paint your face for it either. (I have several ideas of how one could make the skelebro masks. i am interested in costumes and costume construction, even if i don't do it myself. LMAO)

Oh my gosh, if you have ideas, definitely please share! For this flavor of cosplay construction, I might be able to focus up long enough to actually finish, and I'm really excited to maybe try this

well for sans, you could start with a foam base, could be fairly easy to carve out his shapes. and then what i would do is cover it with felt or fleece! the eyes would be buckram, painted black, and for the pupil thinger, i would find some kind of light blue taxidermy eye to put in the middle cuz that effect would be REALLY cool. if the buckram eyes are large enough, it would have good ventilation. You could also add areas of the mouth that are empty, but covered with buckram to add extra ventilation. the fleece would be really cool, or you could find some other kind of fabric to use instead!

another way would be paper mache but i know very little about that method and it could be difficult to get it smooth.

i can do some research into some other methods if people want

I'm about to start a nearly-pacifist run where the only thing I change is that I am maximum levels of cruel/murderous with Papyrus, because I want to see what he and Sans are like when they hurt. But I'm pretty sure the only person I'm about to hurt is myself :C

He tried to spare me and all, and I just went for it, and most of the townspeople have dialogue shifts about papyrus and sans now and fffffff I KNOW i'm going to wrap up my time on this game with another perfect pacifist run, but I don't think I'd even feel as bad about killing toriel as I do about this murder

Oh noooo, Undyne's dialogue made me feel extra awful :C But it does help my feelings that her battle and the lead-ins to her battle are RIGHT in line with my skillset, and I took maybe five total damage during the spear games, and two during the battle proper, so I can be proud of that, and ignore the part where I killed the sweetest skeletal cinnamon bun :V Ffff. I still feel like the biggest jerk. WOW.
