Yodles about Undertale. I've fallen so far that I started a roleplay blog the other day. W h o o p s. Kind of spoilery though, which sucks because I don't want to spoil folks. Spoiler It's a blog for my version of W.D. Gaster. There's a little info running around about him, which is kind of why I picked him and not someone super strict to cannon. Yeah. Hrmm. The issue is picking a thing to do? Like we need a sort of direction or shit will just peter out and die before they really get anywhere. Seen it happen more than once. Sucks. So I guess. Brainstorming. Anyone else feel like starting up an rp thread for Undertale haps? That would be a good place to start I suppose. That and what sort of person you want to play. Canon character. OC. If canon which character. So I guess I'll start up by saying that I'd like to play Chara/Alex.

Oh boy. Such assholes and we're so much stronger than they are too. That and it has been stated that humans fear the whole soul stealing thing monsters can do. Which makes think of stories about like the Fair Folk and such. Crazy soul stealing creatures who are weird and that we banished underground. That sort of thing. Fear of those things has a tight grip on us. That could be a good set up, yeah.

Yeah we really have to find some sort of way to get them in things. Either going full on AU or finding some way to finagle the game's lore into getting them out and about. Because while Asriel spends some time as his soul filled self he does say that he's going to go back to being a soulless asshole. That and...What in the fuck even happens to Chara in the pacifist ending? Are they still floating around Frisk. Just being unable to be an asshole? Did they learn to stop being such an asshole? What are you up to, kid? I am really not sure how to get them out of the underground, though. First place my mind goes to is the meta aspect of the game's lore. So fucking with the files, so to speak. And cheating them into existence somehow. Even if it is something dumb like replacing someone else's sprite with theirs. Which. Sounds kind of horrifying really. Because either that person gets erased out of existence or that person gets stuck in someone else's body. So either we've got a Kid Loki murder situation going or HORRIBLE EVERYTHING DYSPHORIA. Though for making them playable it would be Kid Loki murder situation. If anyone is unaware by what I mean by that there was at one point a Kid Loki in the Marvel universe who wasn't a complete bag of dicks. However another Loki wanted another shot at life so he murdered his child self so he could begin rewriting his life. This became the Sin that Would not be Forgotten and there was like another Old Loki who was completely evil. Confusing comic shit. That sort of meta thing is just one possibility though.

I KNOW. I WANT THEM TO HAVE A CHANCE. Especially the First Child because just. Dammit. It's not fair. Yes he's a dick and yes he did and can do completely awful shit but it's just not fair. Do you have any ideas on how to do it? I do like my dumb idea now that I've gone and thought about it some. But still there are lots of other ways things can be done and my idea is kind of dorky. Though I guess that brings into question the idea of Asriel and Chara having different ways of sticking around.

Determination could definitely be worked in somehow. The question is how. We certainly have time to think about it at any rate. On the subject of the anti-kink brigade I am happy I've thus far avoided those types on my tumblr. Thus far.
