You're not good at this. In any way. Pretty much everyone here knows that, and I know that a few of us joined up thinking 'oh, she's inexperienced and doesn't know any better, let's play too and give her pointers on how to improve! After all, she writes like a 13 year old and goodness knows we all start somewhere.' And then you not only refused to take any kind of advice but you act like we're the killjoy idiots when you can't string a coherent post together and obviously would prefer a few sentence generator bots to play with over people who like games and want to have fun.

 

Seriously, stop playing the Autism Mom card. None of this has anything to do with your son.

 

Yeaaaaah, again you're talking to a whole forum of autistic people. People who have been through behavioral therapies that are nothing more than abuse, people who have survived through others, including their own parents, families, and teachers trying to "help" by training them to be "normal" which actually just means "act like you don't have autism" and treating us like nothing more than misbehaving animals to be trained. I would suggest talking to @Lissa Lysik'an and @seebs in the Sperglord Central forum. Hell, just read some of the posts there, and give honest thought and time to it, and really absorb what they have to say.

You say your sweet and nice, but actions speak louder than words. We have tried to help you by pointing out where you're going wrong and suggesting ways to fix it. You respond by being defensive, and insulting. And quite frankly, if you've been run off of other forums before for the same reasons? Problem doesn't lie with anyone else, sweetheart, it's all on you. We've tried working with you but you don't want to take advise or change, you want to be a bossy bully, and no one wants to put up with that, not even in table top RPGs. So far you've been the kind of person I steer newbies away from because you will ruin their gaming experience and give a bad impression of what RP is. I'm sorry if you've picked up some really terrible ideas yourself from other bad GMs, but you need to be willing to LISTEN and CHANGE. You need to stop saying "don't tell me what to do" and start saying "yes, okay, I'll try that." You need to let go of the reigns and learn first before trying to take charge.

If you can't do that, no one will want to play with you at all ever.

 

no one showed up to attack you or pick on you or gripe or take the rp away from you. we just wanted to play with you and help, and we're used to doing things in a communal way, with lots of discussion. we're not picking on you, though i guess now some of us feel very insulted and dismissed by your attitude and the way you keep saying we're impatient, mean, and stupid.

i think a lot of people are frustrated because you keep saying 'i'm new here', when we all know that, and are trying to teach you and give you advice. but you get defensive and say 'how many times to i have to say i'm new here'. we know you're new. that is why we keep pointing at things you're doing and talking about how you should be doing other things.

you also keep saying 'my life is very difficult please give me time' and we are all encouraging you to take your time and take care of your life. but then you say 'i'm so busy' and 'i'm new' and 'everything's a misunderstanding' whenever someone tries to coach you on something. it sounds like you're making defensive excuses.

ultimately i don't know what you actually want, except for everyone to be able to read your mind. you say 'everyone can go if they don't like it' but also say 'no one's playing in my other thread'. you say 'okay this can be free play' but still seem angry that we're trying to talk about plots with you. you want to do acting but you get hurt when someone else's character doesn't like yours. what's going on?

 

( deep breathe) I am just giving you a look of where I am coming from. I understand that some have it harder then I. I also understand some are more experienced at this then I. Also as far as the autism thing, I am trying to get help to be a better mother to my son andto better understand how it is with it just this past year I learned about the scenery overload part that leads to what some would be out of control or my son who covers his ears at random times. Also eye contact is hard for them because if the fact that the brain takes a ton of pictures all at once and it overwhelms them. I am wanting to really talk to someone who has it like the girl who was finally able to "speak" through that program and tell the world her story as well as let her parents know she did not feel good. As it stands I have to get dressed for work now.

 

Okay, soooo. Can we just all agree to try to get along and get on with playing?

Also. Um... Can we quit with the Autism Mom thing? Like, we get that your son is autistic but fail to see how that has anything to do with anything, (but please do feel free to ask questions on the other forum) and as others have said, it makes us REALLY uncomfortable as autistics when you play that card.

 

I'd like to keep playing in a free 'verse, but if we want any more structure than that we're gonna need to answer a lot of questions before we start and have a much clearer idea of the world and its rules as well as what we're in for in terms of plot, so that things go more smoothly

Honestly when @jacktrash brought in Jack Saturday and the whole thing was building up I thought it would go down the crazy rails and he'd end up being tugged around by ne'erdowells, but no. No, apparently Barnaby's puppy eyes and wibble are doing the tugging.

Um... I already have moved Aerian to the table before any of this happened... ... ... (I havent caught up on the RP thread yet.)
I'll have to catch up and see what's going on but essentically he moved to the table to get by to get to the stairs to abscond...

Also no he doesn't have a reason to go to the castle; he has a reason to STAY AWAY from the castle. :3 Lemme catch up and I'll edit this post with a new plan I guess.


EDIT: Okay I'm caught up now and... well you guys are outside and Aerian would've been very very happy to abscond by the werewolves unnoticed the second they went to jump onto the bar. (Yaay distaction) So he'd be upstairs in his rented room.
