Vampires, and Lykens its time to play!(open RP)

the contessa looks around curiously. her own domain is decorated very differently: it is a winding maze of overgrown rose vines and elegant wooden furnishings. she goes to examine the doll with morbid curiosity.

"what an interesting room" she says in a tone that conveys that she doesn't like it and thinks she could have done much better.

 

As you look over the doll it moves.

"You should try my cocktails" she prucks up for a second.

 

Gwendolyn looks at you and says "never mind that lets go before he comes back you smell dead"

 

{ Pause}

 

"Hey, screw you too, buddy, I smell just fine." He holds out his shirt and takes a sniff down his collar, then wrinkles his nose. "No, I take it back, I smell like a sick mule. Must be someone I ate."

He follows along after her with more curiosity than obedience, ready to wander off if anything more interesting than her shows up. "Whose castle is this, anyhow. I saw it and I was like, welp, that is a castle, you gotta go there. You don't just tool on past without at least having a look, you know? It's the most interesting thing in the whole landscape."

Gwendolyn replies " You would be in the ground of thr lovely Victoria Rose. She is waiting. "

 

Jack blinks. "Waiting? How come? I didn't even know I was coming here until... about an hour ago?" His eyes narrow. "Aw crap, is there magic going on?"

 

"Chance, brother, come on. You've been rotting in here for ages," Ambrose cajoles at Chance through the door.
"I am perfectly fine with rotting. Not so much with the going out and thrusting myself into a group of complete strangers, who, because they are like us, are probably complete psychopaths. No, I will stay here, thanks." Chance glares as Ambrose appears suddenly in his room.
"Too bad. We're going, because I said so." Ambrose reaches out and grabs Chance's shoulder, and suddenly they are on the road between a small village and a big castle.
"Ugh, Ambrose, you are the absolute worst. I hate you." Chance mutters.
"Hey, do you think her village hates her as much as ours hates us?"
"Probably."
They set off towards the castle, Chance resigned to his fate of socialization and Ambrose ready for an adventure.

"i would love one, thank you," ebony says to victoria rose. then she picks up the moving doll by an arm and examines it closely. "what is this? a homonunculous? a cursed toy?"

( I become aware thst someone else has arrived that I was waiting on){ some words escape me on spelling}.

"It is cursed and be careful it is tempered"

As you walk up toward the castle you hear a howl and feel the ground thump. As you get closer you see a carriage.

 

"Who may I say is calling"

 

Chance looks over at Ambrose. "Well that sure as hell wasn't ominous."
"It's a wolf, Chance. Stop acting like a peasant." Ambrose says.
"I meant the earthquake." Chance shoots back.
"Look, do you think she sent us a ride?" Ambrose says as they approach the carriage.

 

The near by tavern is the fulginspits off to the right of the station.

 

(Thud, thud crash) you notice right behind the gat a big black shadowy blob.

 

" Let's just say the dog is linked to her and she has eyes on the grounds. "

 

Jack ponders the concept of being linked to a dog. After a while he says, "Can she taste what it eats? Did I just feed her an arm?"

 

"We must hurry though. I hear her calling again"
