I realised about 5 mins in to the episode what Lucretia was going to do, and when she did it... holy shit it broke my heart.

As did Barry begging Taako to kill him and the implications of that.

As did Justin realising what the Umbra Staff was and his comment ('Secondly, that fucking hurt')

As did the whole issue with Davenport, and the fact that Lucretia kept slipping in to treating him like a servant in earlier episodes.

Eugh, I'm so torn about Lucretia! I understand her reasoning, and that she tried to give her friends the best lives possible post-mission. But that wasn't her decision to make alone, and the betrayal cuts deep. Making Taako forget his twin? Making all of them forget the bonds they'd formed throughout those 100 years? Trying to make Barry forget Lup?! I can see some of them finding it hard to forgive her.

I already know that the moment when Lup comes back, or when she's confirmed to be absolutely dead, is going to wreck me. Goddamn, and I thought that bit in The Suffering Game when Magnus' soul was ripped out was bad!

Non-spoiler: Griffin's writing is fantastic and floors me every time. And the fact that his family gel with it so well... best podcast. Best podcast ever. So many feels.

So many things to be sad about this episode, but also the way that Griffin talked about lup not meaning to be gone so long seems to confirm my feeling that we'll see her again, so that's something
